A breath of fresh air

Compared to my last Lincoln, the MKC has claimed me back as a Lincoln owner / Lessor. It has a good ride, but a little noisy inside the cabin ( the radio helps that issue anyway).

Disappointed

Bad decision. Nice car to look at. Totally mislead by dealer. Sorry I traded my Lexus. Rides like a stagecoach. Doesn’t miss a bump. It was suppose to have a special comfort mode. That was not true. 2019 car I am stuck with. Put too much down as a lease. Will have to buy it and trade it at end of lease immediately. Win some LOSE some which I did.

Everything the Lincoln.com website says about this

I shopped 23 dealers from San Jose to San Diego. I gave each a window sticker so there would be no substitutions. My search was unusual because I did not want the panoramic roof (makes the interior very hot) and the 200A package. Other criteria included a specific interior and exterior color. After three days I had the top 3 price quotes. I decided on a south coast dealer and bought the car for cash. They gave me every possible incentive deduction. The car was prepped and the paperwork 25% done before I arrived. It took 45 minutes to complete the deal and drive away. The trip home was over 100 miles. The next day was a nightmare. The car was driven to an in-building parking structure. It refused to shut off. After 45 seconds of pushing park - stop - shifting - swearing - pushing buttons the car shut off. Unfortunately I saw a series of "U" series error messages on the screen. It turns out that I'm at the local lincoln dealer and they told me this was a common thing for them to see. When the battery voltage/amperage drops the electrical systems 'sees' it as a system failure. In my case the electronics thought the ABS system and starter system failed (why I saw the U series error messages on the dash). The good news was the battery was recharged and the car has been problem free for 4 weeks. I think that I'll be OK from now on. This is a systemic problem for Lincoln and Ford. There is so much electrical activity going on after you turn the car off, a weak battery can put you in the hurt locker. I should have seen this coming. I walked into the dealership where I purchased the car, and ALL of their cars in the showroom had battery connectors going out to wall plugs. I'd buy another one tomorrow however I'd tell the dealer to trickle charge the battery overnight as part of the pre-purchase-prep routine.

My sits are way TOO HARD!

I like my 2019 MKC Recerv very much but I hate how hard are my sits. When I have to drive for more than an hour my lower back hurts so much.
