Great car, smooth and quite

This car drives great, good power, smooth engine, and classy interior/exterior. We had a Lincoln Continetal prior to this 2008 MKZ AWD and loved that car also! Cudo's to Lincoln! I will buy these cars as long as they build them!

Great Car For The $

I purchased my 2008 MKZ in Dececember of 2008 and it has been great. Although there are a few minor things like the poor rear window visiblity that make it challenging, overall it is great. The Sync technology is fantastic, the ride is great and it handles perfectly. If you want a very comfortable luxury car that turns heads, this one is for you!

Doesn't get any better

This car replaces my V-8 LS. Except for the acceleration, everything is better. How much better? The mileage is great, the ride smooth as silk and the trunk space is fantastic. In fact the vehicle is so good, we have two of them.

Excellent car

This car is competition for the Cadillac CTS. I believe the MKZ has much better styling, more reasonably priced and just as comfortable. I find no drawbacks with my 2008 MKZ. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who is contemplating the purchase of a luxury import sedan.

Classy, Sporty Wheels with High Tech Features

I didn't think a Lincoln would suit me (an athletic, middle-aged male) because of Lincoln's tradition of large landcruisers with marshmallow rides. However, a test drive of a friend's MKZ demonstrated otherwise. The 3.5 liter V-6 has plenty of power and the car tautly hugs corners over twisting country roads. The exterior styling is understated, yet subtly striking (particularly the taillights, front grille, and foglights) - has even drawn praise from my teenagers (they also like the leg room in the rear). The Sync system is amazing; it makes cell use with Bluetooth a breeze and it somehow instantly locates songs on my Ipod with simple voice commands. This is a great and underrated feature!!! Interior is well laid out - however, with a sunroof, the headroom is tight - if you are over 6 feet tall check this carefully. The quality and workmanship is excellent throughout; e.g, the doors have that solid, quality "thud" when closing. Even the standard audio system sounds great - the optional THX system sounds better than my home theater system. The car is outstanding in this class - it is by far the most car for the money. Don't overlook this when looking at the Cadillac CTS, BMW 3 or 5 series, Lexus 350, or the Infiniti G35.

I wish I still had my '05 Town Car.

When I test drove the MKZ, the dealership did not have the model I wanted; AWD w/ a moonroof. When I got my car, I noticed that the moonroof cost me 4? of head room. Consequently I hit my head on every little bump. The design of the back window is poor. You can not tell where the end of the car is and you can not see 3-5 feet beyond the back bumper. God help any of you who have children or pets around when you are driving in reverse. You would think that engineering would see this risk a mile away. I hope pregnant women or people who can not stand strong fumes do not buy this car. The plastics they use in the car is still giving me a sore throat. Steering is loose at highway speed

What an awesome value

I own the front wheel drive model. All the other bells and whistles make the price a fantastic value. Check out the Sync system.

Outstanding Car - it is a Lincoln?

Forget what the "experts" say, go drive one and you will love the MKZ. ? Beautiful finish and great craftsmanship ? Very smooth without floating, you can feel the road. ? Outstanding value that cannot be touched by other cars ? Sharp looks, the grill is very distinctive ? Great seats for long drives and plenty of leg room for back seat passengers ? Sync is the best media/phone/navigation system on the road ? Unbelievable that I can get in the car and my Bluetooth phone connects. ? Audio System will blow away your home system ? Huge trunk space ? Easy to drive and excellent power to pass I was not looking at the MKZ, but had a Mercury Milan for a rental car and was so impressed that I look at the Milan. At the dealer I found a black MKZ in the showroom that looked beautiful. So I looked deeper and all I found was praise for the car: ? J.D. Power's 2007 Initial Quality Study Award, ? Interior of the year" honors from ward's auto world, ? "Top Safety Pick" from IIHS, ? 5 stars from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, ? Navigation system (ranked #1 by J.D. Power in the 2006 Navigation Usage and Satisfaction Study), ? THX-II audio system (voted "Best Audio" by PC Magazine in their 2007 Digital Drive Awards and "Best Stereo System" by CNET.com in their 2006 Car Tech Awards). ? One of Ward?s Auto World 10 best engines ? And the others that own car love it While looking at the MKZ, I looked at the Infiniti G35 (2nd Choice), BMW 328 (3rd Choice), Cadillac CTS (4th Choice), Lexus 350 (5th Choice ? very cheap looking and feel), and the MKZ was the better value with outstanding looks, easy to drive but sporty with an outstanding interior and sound system. As a 40yo that never thought I would drive a Lincoln (my father?s car) I am very pleased every morning now to get into my MKZ.

Not Quite a CTS, but Great Value

I also own an '07 CTS. This car does not perform like the CTS or give the "wow" effect, but the value for the money is outstanding. There are great deals available for this car while no deals on the new '08 CTS. The "Sinc" software is awesome. The ability to use the bluetooth plus the ipod linkage is underplayed by Ford as this is slick.
