2017 Mazda CX-5 consumer reviews

When I test drove the Mazda cx-5, I could not believe how it drove and performed! It's well built, stylish and seats my family of 4 quite comfortably. The cx-5 has and plenty of power and gets good gas mileage.

This car hits so many buttons and is priced below others in this class. The ride is So smooth. It hugs the road well on corners and steers incredibly easy. The interoir is very nice (particularly the Grand Touring) and intuitive with 2 exceptions. Having driven it for a couple of weeks, I find the seat portion narrow. I'm not a big guy & find myself fighting the sides of the bucket seat itself. They raise more than I'd like creating a bit of a hemmed in feeling. Not a deal breaker, though. And, while I understand the safety aspect, having to use the dial for the touch screen while in Drive is a little frustrating. Cargo space is very good, imo. I am still learning the cruise feature because it gives some new options but they're really cool, improve the driving experience & dramatically improve highway safety. Finally, let's not forget the styling - absolutly killer. The front grill sets this suv aprt from every other one. The red has an upcharge that is totally worth it - deep color that accentuates its contrast between shadows & light. Overall, I feel like I found a needle in a haystack. It's the ride I hoped I would find!

I cannot say enough positive things about the 2017 Mazda CX-5. It has a luxury feel without the luxury price. This is my first Mazda and so far I must say I am greatly impressed. This is my wife's car and she loves it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a compact SUV to go give the CX-5 a look.

The design is outstanding. It has plenty of legroom, and handles superbly. The engine is powerful enough for our needs.

Just traded in my 2013 cx-5...2017 model practically drives itself... loaded with safety features and conveniences as well!! More value for the price than the competition!

I am a car buying who buys a new car and keeps it forever. I bought a 2016 Mazda CX5 two years ago. We really liked the drive and style, but felt the interior was a little on the cheap side. We were at a Mazda event and test drove a 2017 and were impressed with the interior upgrades. The dash, door panels, reclining rear seats, auto tag gate, radio, everything had been updated and improved. Much nicer, better quality. Plus they've included all of the newest safety features. We were able to get a good price for our 2016 and pick-up a fully loaded new one for a very reasonable price. And we got the new hot red! love it!

This car has all the features I wanted in a new vehicle, and more. The heads up display is very convenient. I also use the adaptive cruise control and lane assist features quite often. The one improvement they could make is adding Android Auto or Apple car play.

I was told by the dealer that I should expect Lexus quality and a much lower price. that had me baffled, the nylon seals and plastic interior trim was not very Lexus like at all. And the grill, can you imagine how dated this front end design will be in a few short years? It reminded me of the mid-70's Lincoln Contentinals and how they look NOW.

This car is not only sleek looking, but has the performance to match. It is my favorite car I have ever owned.
