In love

This is my first SUV and I love it! I like the lane keep assist system but probably my favorite is the break hold. When you turn it on and come to a complete stop you can take your foot off the break and it will hold until you press the gas!

Best small SUV

This SUV even at the base model has many upgrades that are standard, HD radio, voice command options, etc. It is roomy for a small class SUV. Has great gas mileage and has good pickup with the 2.5 engine. There is a sport mode feature that gives you extra pep if needed. There is great trunk space. It has a very smooth ride, like a luxury car and is very comfortable. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Nice Ride!

The 2017 CX-5 is definitely worth a test drive and purchase. The ride quality was quiet and smooth. The acceleration is acceptable when you consider the gas mileage you get. The CX-5 handles great with every twist and turn. I recommend the touring with sunroof and bose sound system.

loud and bumpy

Bought this car due to all the great reviews and the test drive went great. 1000 miles into owning it, the transmission got really loud and whiny. Then I noticed the shifting wasn't as smooth, especially in lower gears. Then the front of the cabin gets shaky in reverse and in idle. Finally, acceleration is starting to sound gravelly. Only 2700 miles into owning this car, I have to take it back to the dealership to figure out what's wrong with it. My last new car purchase was a 2004 Escape, and I didn't have one issue until after 8 years of ownership and tens of thousands of miles. And it is still running. I am not confident the CX 5 will last past the warranty.

Bought the new Mazda CX5 and....

I think it is a great car for gas mileage, comfort, looks but was extremely disappointed when I went to turn on (with the company) XM radio which shows clearly on the dash and was told there is NO ACCESS TO XM RADIO. The car does not have the capability AT ALL. I was not told this prior to purchase, just that they "no longer give the 3 month free trial." It also only shows 2 apps that you can use through your phone while other cars their minimum tends to be at least 6-7.

Good mid priced crossover

Lots of safety features, including back up camera, cross traffic monitor and speed limit signs on navigation, good gas mileage about 23 in town and sporty looks for the price.

Really great vehicle

The cx5 is truly a wonderful car , it is great on gas and does not hurt my pocket when I need to fill it up . It is very comfy and I am 6ft 6 , there is a lot of room and the 7"screen along with all the electronics that come with it are great and easy to use . Let's not forget how sleek and amazing it looks either . Definitely worth the money and I do not regret getting it .
