Thumbs up for a fun well designed car.

I really like my CX-50 it came loaded with a lot of tech and safety features others make you go to the top trim for. It’s the first car I can have the hvac on auto and have it perform without me intervening. The steering feel and response is great. It holds the road and curves like it’s glued down. Ride is as you would expect from an suv built by Mazda. You know the road and its conditions with out it being a jarring experience. Acceleration is good and in the turbo it’s borderline ridiculous. I’ve been getting 31.3 mpg mixed driving. I tend to do my own shifting as that’s my preference and enjoy. I appreciate it’s an inline 4 with a 6spd it’s balanced and it’s fun. My 21 Honda Accord Sport I replaced it with had a CVT and that’s the only complaint I had about that car. I think both are well made and offer a lot of value. Bottom line it’s a great price for a well rounded good looking fun and easy to live with car. It offers a driving experience vs being a boring transportation machine.

Good looking, fun to drive, and reliable

Got the Meridian edition and I absolutely love it. The car handles almost as good as a little sports hatchback. The roof rack does get a little noisy at high speeds but if you close the moon roof it pretty much goes away. That's the only negative I'd give to the car, but in the end that's something I can live with. Interior quality is almost on par with some luxury brands. Exterior design is far above any bmw or Benz in the segment. Plenty of power aver pickup when you need it.

GOOD COMPACT SUV

I have top of the line CX50. Good looking SUV. Rides a little too firm at times. Turbo gives it good power, better than most it competes with. Interior looks upscale.Gps needs improvement. Not user friendly.Phone needs constant pairing.Gas mileage is average. Seats are comfy. Like folding mirrors. Bottom line is that I consider it one of the best compact Suvs in its class. Drives and handles very well.

Mazda CX-50

Bought the CX-50 turbo premium plus, and very pleased with the vehicle. Rides and handles well. Lot of technology included in the 2023 Mazda line!

Love It Turbo Prem Plus

This is our 2nd Mazda and could not be happier. I think the CX50 handles well, has everything you need, and seems well built. The Soul Red is an amazing color. Everybody I know who has one loves it so I was shocked to see some of the negative reviews. Definitely works for us.

PhilaBurbs

I have had it for a month and absolutely love everything about it. I am now used to the center control panel and think it's great to not have to look at anything to divert my attention from the road.

FUN CAR HORRIBLE HOWLING SOUND FROM CROSSBARS

THIS IS A FUN CAR TO DRIVE. LOVE THE COLOR AND THE LOOK. THE CROSSBARS ADD TO THE LOOK HOWEVER, THE SOUND IT MAKES WHEN YOU DRIVE AT A CERTAIN MILE IS TERRIBLE. THE DESIGN SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Bad Purchase one to avoid

My family owned a cx-50 for exactly four months before trading it in. Why? Many reasons. Extremely uncomforatable small seats that have a stripe down the middle that constantly jabs into your butt like a butter knife. The main infotainment screen is a complete joke. Alblum art from siriusxm or apple car play is 1inch by 1inch. The information lines read like 1980's dos computer. You can not split the infotainment screen into two or three sections of information (like widgets) The rear windows only role halfway down. Keyless access only works on the drivers door. Its a six speed automatic vs 8 speed or 10 speed like most others make these day. Torrsion beam rear axel instead of indepedent wish bone so you feel every bump and its loud. Tiny Tiny windows. Buyer beware Mazda cx-50 was a bad purchase.
