Overall, enjoy my Mazda CX Premium.

Overall, enjoy my Mazda CX Premium. Pros: Great Handling and solid stance, prefer the lower to the ground/wagon feel, priority on driving vs tech. Google maps and streaming and I am happy Cons: Short driver seat lacks support. Fabric seats in premium have developed a few snags, Infotainment bugs (I like the knob): can add same station to favorites multiple times, statelite always starts at beginning versus current station, and screen dimming auto dim required reading online forums to see the dashboard buttons override the infotainment vehicle setting. Lastly the IP plastic/crystal had to have replaced due to scratch and replaced one still seems low quality. 24 MY upgraded the suspension to make softer and the steering is not as heavy.

For an ATV it did not support a trailor hitch easily.

For an ATV it did not support a trailor hitch easily. Major issue having one installed. Manufacturer tires wore out at 35k miles. Got those replaced and a week later my battery went dead for no reason. Vehicle is only 1 and a half years old. Then the day the battery went dead got the vehicle jumped and attempted to drive the vehicle and it went haywire with the steering column locking up at any turn while being driven which was exceptionally dangerous and now is having to be towed in to mazda for service. Looking for recalls which they do have on this vehicle. I am not going to promote a new model like this out of reliability and safety concerns.

I had a 2023 CX-50, and it had rear differential issues

I had a 2023 CX-50, and it had rear differential issues causing clicking noises, fixed once but recurring. The vehicle was rough on the road, even with standard 17 inch wheels. The steering was average and not as responsive. It was a task driving on the highway, a lot of over compensating to maintain some sense of a solid ride. There were some interior issues also, could not see the A/C indicator, and there was no external mirror knob, it was distracting to adjust. More blind spots on the inside because of the framing and air bag support. The seats were un-comfortable. After 6 months of this crossover vehicle, I traded it, very un-happy with it, which is a surprise, because I had Mazda's in the past which were more reliable.

Nickel & Dimed

My wife has been in MB vehicles for the past 27 years and purchased a 24 CX-50 Premium Plus Turbo .The only complaint she really has is they way Mazda cheaper out and does not put a button for remote start on the key fob. The app doesn't work for her where she parks and for a 45k fully loaded vehicle it is ridiculous. Trying to make customers pay a subscription fee just to use a built in feature is enough reason we probably will end up trading it in early. Sure , require the lower trims to use the app like Ford does ( Fords app is free use) but the upper trims have key fob buttons for when the vehicle doesn't have good cell signal. Shame on Mazda for attempting to nickel and dime their customers

Thumbs up for a fun well designed car.

I really like my CX-50 it came loaded with a lot of tech and safety features others make you go to the top trim for. It’s the first car I can have the hvac on auto and have it perform without me intervening. The steering feel and response is great. It holds the road and curves like it’s glued down. Ride is as you would expect from an suv built by Mazda. You know the road and its conditions with out it being a jarring experience. Acceleration is good and in the turbo it’s borderline ridiculous. I’ve been getting 31.3 mpg mixed driving. I tend to do my own shifting as that’s my preference and enjoy. I appreciate it’s an inline 4 with a 6spd it’s balanced and it’s fun. My 21 Honda Accord Sport I replaced it with had a CVT and that’s the only complaint I had about that car. I think both are well made and offer a lot of value. Bottom line it’s a great price for a well rounded good looking fun and easy to live with car. It offers a driving experience vs being a boring transportation machine.

Good looking, fun to drive, and reliable

Got the Meridian edition and I absolutely love it. The car handles almost as good as a little sports hatchback. The roof rack does get a little noisy at high speeds but if you close the moon roof it pretty much goes away. That's the only negative I'd give to the car, but in the end that's something I can live with. Interior quality is almost on par with some luxury brands. Exterior design is far above any bmw or Benz in the segment. Plenty of power aver pickup when you need it.

GOOD COMPACT SUV

I have top of the line CX50. Good looking SUV. Rides a little too firm at times. Turbo gives it good power, better than most it competes with. Interior looks upscale.Gps needs improvement. Not user friendly.Phone needs constant pairing.Gas mileage is average. Seats are comfy. Like folding mirrors. Bottom line is that I consider it one of the best compact Suvs in its class. Drives and handles very well.
