The 2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid may not be suitable for gig
The 2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid may not be suitable for gig workers or anyone who drives for long hours. The driver’s seat feels too firm and uncomfortable for extended driving. After 3–4 hours behind the wheel, I experience deep pain in my right xxxxxxx that radiates down my leg below the knee. The pain improves when I get out, stand, and walk. I don’t experience the same problem in other vehicles. If you drive for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Spark, or spend more than two hours driving regularly, please test the seat thoroughly before buying. A short test drive may not reveal these problems. Long-distance seat comfort is extremely important, and I wish I had known this before purchasing

So far no problems with this vehicle other than the plastic side trim piece on the door is starting to come off. That I’m sure is an easy fix. Everything works perfectly the new and improved Bluetooth connectivity is nice, the heated seats work fine and no problem with the panoramic moon roof.

This is just an isolated case but I just bought this car
This is just an isolated case but I just bought this car brand new and the same day I took it out I started noticing 3 different noises; 1st from the mid bar of the panoramic window everytime i hit a small bump, 2nd whenever i hit the brake and I transition from brake to gas a stomping/knocking sound from the rear brakes and lastly also a knocking sound from the steering wheel when i make a hard turn like getting in a parking space. The first 2 problem got fix but the problem on the steering still exist after they replaced the axle. Now they are waiting for a part to replace the steering bracket which may or may not resolve the problem. Now its been 3 weeks and it is still in service and my car dont feel like brand new anymore... I just dont know why they have not notice that problem when it already had 26 miles... either the dealer ignored it and just want to sell or they really didnt noticed even though I noticed it right away on the first day.

I have owned two Mazdas in the past so I thought I would
I have owned two Mazdas in the past so I thought I would look at a third. I wanted a hybrid this time, so knowing that Mazda hasn't really gotten into the hybrid game I was skeptical with the CX50 hybrid. I did alot of online, and magazine article research on this vehicle as well as others. There are a number of options out there, but what sold me on the CX50 is that 1) The other Mazdas I have owned were extremely reliable, 2} The CX50 has the same fourth (I believe it's the fourth) generation Toyota 2.5 liter hybrid engine and e-cvt transmission that was used in the RAV 4 which is highly rated and 3) Mazda just knows how to make a extremely engaging fun to drive vehicle than most. As most vehicles go, this one isn't perfect. I have noticed the road noise is worse than the CX5 I used to have. It's not terrible by any means, just more noticable. I know there are tires out there that are quieter but that's not something I'm willing to do until it's time to replace them. The other thing is I hate the cupholders being in the front, in front of the gear shift. The only other thing (and I've heard people say if you have been a Mazda owner it's annoying to what you're used to, if you've been a Toyota owner it sound normal) and that is the engine drone sound at higher needed speed like entering a highway or passing someone. All of these are things I can live with and I have absolutely have no regrets with this purchase. Bottom line, if you want the interior and exterior quality and engaging driving experience that Mazda gives you and an extremely proven reliable hybrid engine that Toyota gives you...you have the perfect marriage.

My second cx50 hybrid.
My second cx50 hybrid. Also purchased a 2025 cx50 last year and still have it. Purchased the second one for my wife. I love the car. Interior is top notch on both cars . Owning the 2025 I anjelous of a couple of my wife’s 2025 option adds. Both cars are premium plus versions but the 2026 has a heated steering wheel and parking sensors where the 2025 does not. Really Mazda why not. Even though these glaring differences. I still do not regret the purchases. I would have purchased a RAV4 but with my bad back and the door clearance on the.RAV.i had to pass. I found that the CX50 hybrid has the RAV drive train and the clearance allows me easy entry and exit it was a winner for me. Love. Oth cars and highly recommended them.

I purchased my CX50 Hybrid a month ago and absolutely
I purchased my CX50 Hybrid a month ago and absolutely LOVE IT. It's got beautiful interior, body lines and plenty of power for a speed demon like me. I test drove many similar vehicles- Honda CRV (plain boring interior), Toyota RAV4 (too small and expensive) and Lexus (too expensive). Everything else out there similar is a Turbo and my mechanic husband wouldn't let me buy a Turbo. The only thing that i am not a fan of is the wireless charging pad. I cannot find a phone case that will work with my phone/wireless charging. I have a 14 iPhone promax which is oversized and a camera that sticks out too far. I will keep trying to find something but that's my only issue so far.

Multiple minor annoyances starting with a side mirror
Multiple minor annoyances starting with a side mirror that doesn't stay in place, to a heated steering wheel that doesn't stay warm, to a touch locking mechanism that won't lock, to an infotainment system that is difficult to get to work, to a LOT ,A LOT of road noise in this "premium" edition makes me wish I hadn't leased one.
