Best SUV

I am in love with my Mazda cx9 it is the best. Its very roomy and comfortable. I have had my vehicle for 3 months and I don't regret it one bit. I have 4 kids so getting a third row suv was a must. If you are thinking about getting this vehicle please do, don't second guess it I feel in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it. My suv is a 2008 and I promise you it ride like a brand new car the previous owner took very good care of it.

A shame about the reliability

Just traded this vehicle in after one expensive year of ownership. I spent more in repairs this past year than the previous 10 with other vehicles. It's a shame because the vehicle is comfortable, user-friendly, and good-looking. A tip to others with a Mazda, the Mazda Customer Experience program will sometimes help with repair cost if you direct them to the service bulletins for common issues. We had luck with this on our first $1k repair, for which they paid $800, but then they did not help on the subsequent $5k of repairs to various components of the car, all of which were common problems mentioned on enthusiast forums.

It has lots of room, is great to drive, looks stylish, has a great sound system, and is a smooth driving crossover.

Loved it

When I had one I really loved it. I had the Grand Touring CX-9. It had everything I wanted. 3rd row seat, leather seats sunroof. It was very nice. After I traded it in, I really missed it. Shhhh, don?t tell my husband because he loved it too but I wanted something new. I bought it used. Never had any problems with it. Except the doors locked automatically if the key was inside. Got locked out twice. Had to call a locksmith. And if you would walk away with the key and not lock it all the windows and sunroof would open up automatically. I would come outside from being I the store and the car windows would be down. Even in the rain. But if you were mindful to lock it and take the key, it was a wonderful car otherwise.

Good dependable car

Grand Touring model. Comfortable and roomy. No modern features such as USB ports. Like most 3-row seating cars, third row for smaller people.

Great car!

This is a great car! Great quality, comfortable, reliable. No problems during my ownership, MPG could be better but it is a big AWD car so......

Great Family Car Handles like a Sports Car

The CX-9 has seating for 7. My CX-9 has a moon roof, DVD system that is great for the kids. The power, heated leather seats are great in the winter, for cold Missouri days. It corners great if you feel the need for speed. I have blind spot mirrors, automatic windshield wipers, dual control temperature for the front passengers and rear controls for the back. The power liftgate works form the driver's seat or at the back of the gate. The navigation system could be updated, but is easy to use. The seats fold down with ease. there are plenty of cup holder in all areas of the vehicle.

Wonderful car for 7 people

I bought this for my mother to transport Boy Scouts for camping trips. The CX-9 is the best SUV ever for holding up to 7 adults without being the size of a Navigator.
