Great Car!

This car has been amazing. It is bigger than I was expecting and is very comfortable. The technology is way more advanced than a 2015 would suggest. Definitely recommend this car.

My son loves his car

My son is happy with his car, very spacious and great on gas. Smooth driving, we have never had a Mazda before, and so far we are really satisfied with the purchase

Has it’s quirks, but awesome overall.

Bought a 2015 S Grand Touring 6spd manual not long ago with less than 25k on it. I have to say, this is a very impressive car. Very fun to drive, great handling. There are a few negatives. 1. The Bose system is great as far as sound quality, but a manufacturer’s defect causes moisture from rain to get onto the back of the speakers in the front doors, eventually causing them to rust and separate. I just took the door panel off, took out the speaker and sanded where the coil meets the cone, and re-glued it with weatherstripping adhesive. It now sounds like new. 2. Some of the headlight assemblies get moisture in them. I took the bumper off, took out the headlight assembly, separated the lens from the housing, removed the old sealer and resealed it with headlight sealer. 3. The engine shakes oddly for a while when it first starts. If you’re unfamiliar with the way the Skyactiv tech works this can be worrisome at first, but it’s normal. So, all in all with the two small issues I’ve encountered, I’ve spent less than $20 and about 2hrs of my time total and fixed them. For this car I would definitely do it over again.

I am really enjoying this car

I was shopping for an SUV but when I came accross this car, I pretty much fell in love with it. It's a 2015 but looks absolutely brand new, extemely well equipped (I'm going to have to study the manual to figure out how most of the features work!), handles beautifully.

Great little car but not for long trips

I chose this vehicle based on the Consumer Reports recommendations. Overall the reviews were accurate. Pros include include fun to drive with very responsive steering and a preppy with plenty of power, even with a 2.0 L engine. Great fuel economy. The build quality is very good and the interior styling is comparable to some luxury brands. Cons include a harsh ride, uncomfortable seats, and not much storage capacity. Another pet peeve is the acceleration can be really sluggish when in drive mode. It’s as if the car can’t decide what gear it should be in. It can make stop and go freeway driving frustrating and even scary when merging. The easy solution is to leave it in manual but it seems like an oversight that could be fixed with better programming. Still, it is a really good value for the money vehicle. As much fun to drive as a VW Golf but with the cost and reliability of a Toyota Corolla.

reliable, economical and fun car to drive

I've owned this car since Aug 2014- (a bit over 5 years), vehicle has never given me any problems. Transmission shifts very smoothly, clutch engagement is predictable and very agile in the turns. the only thing that could be improved would be wind noise at higher speeds, although it is expected for a commuting vehicle.

Great car and function

I was looking for a sedan with plenty of room. Wanted 4 doors. This was highly rated, and the back up camera and blind spot monitors sold me on the safety. Have had NO issues since I bought the car new.
