Cheap to keep.

I owned the 2006 Mazda MX-5 grand touring, with automatic transmission. I bought it used with 139K miles and it ran great. Handling is very stable and matched the 2004 BMW I used to own. Gas mileage was low 20's in town and hi 20's on the hiway. I have always been one to check gas mileage at every fill up for as long as I can remember. It gives me information as to the vehicle performance and any problems that may crop up. Love the paddle shifters, for the twisty roads which keeps both hands on the wheel for better control. Sadly I had to sell it so I could afford to move. That was 20 months ago and now I am actively looking for another. If you are looking for a sporty, reliable car that is fun to drive, and has great looks and CHEAP to keep, I recommend the Miada. .

Great car

This car is an extremely well equipped little thing. Very easy to upgrade to a racer or keep just as a pleasant everyday driver for those days you just wanna put the top down on the way home from work. Also very reliable but if you?re 6?3 or above I wouldn?t recommend it for lack of legroom

Great little sports car

Gives you that small sports car experience at a reasonable price. And you can't beat the reliability of a Mazda. Never an engine problem, handles like a dream.

2006 Mazda Miata

Incredibly dependable fun for the money. The Miata is the best selling 2 seat convertible sports car of all time. This is my 4th one only selling because I bought a 5th one. Not fast, but a blast to drive. Not real practical as an only car , but that is not the cars fault. It has been so much fun.

Everyone should own a second car, a Miata!

This is exactly the car I was looking for in a second car. It's a gorgeous exterior body in a rare marble white color and the interior is a wonderful "baseball" tan color with gloss black accents. It drives exactly as I want it to, not too powerful, but not to slow either. The steering in awesome, very similar to a Porsche 911 (except for the power) and an absolute joy to drive.

Fun, but gets old.

I owned my 2006 MX-5 for five years. I gave me almost no problems, other than a few silly issued like the window shades breaking and hanging down. The car gets great gas mileage, but the tank is tiny and requires premium gas. This thing is an absolute blast to drive on short distances, but it sucks on long road trips. The air conditioning is really weak, so if you live in a hot climate, prepare to be a bit sweaty. No aux jack for playing music was also very annoying and I had to keep stuff on my passenger seat because the storage is minimal.

Lots of Fun

This car is low to the ground and a lot of fun to drive. The interior is small and the seats aren't really adjustable though.

I love driving it.

I love driving the car., as the steering is very positive, and I have not had any trouble Either in city driving, which it is mainly used for, or when I have been on the road.

A blast to drive!

The Mazda Miata MX-5 is a blast to drive even year round with the top down. I just run the heat when its cold out and the AC if it get too hot. I love keeping the top down and driving outside in the open air. Its super reliable, fun and a great value.
