2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata consumer reviews

Miata is my favorite car, the only one. I just felt I must own it when I first sit in the car. ND has a really handsome front design and good quality of interior design. The Bose sound system can makeup the short back of the noise of this car. I really like the sound of its engine and exhaust, so intoxicating, I really like to drive this car in the mountain road in the town, it is satisfying.

The MX-5 that we own is the basic model. This car is a fantastic, fun drive. The gas mileage is fabulous. The only drawbacks the car had was the factory suspension and lack of a glove box. I have upgraded our suspension making the car the true sports car it should be. We have learned to live without the glove box. This car gives now gives new meaning to "zoom, zoom". It is the essence of VW's "fahrvergnuegen"!

The car is delightful. Super soft suspension makes it really comfortable. It?s aggressively impractical but beautiful inside and out, torquey engine is fast enough. The engine somehow reaches 200 degrees in about 1 minute. Large bumps cause zero discomfort, but washboard surfaces induce significant vibration. 2332 pounds, and not nose heavy, makes the handling extremely good. I?ve been getting slightly better than the EPA?s estimates for 27/33 MPG. The active headlights are hilarious, but the lack of LSD on the luxury version is devastating. The Bose stereo is merely okay, the auto climate control has strange programming. Still a class above any BMW or Jaguar. Best car I?ve ever driven, and I?ve driven a lot. Anyway, the 2019 will have a lot more engine power. Buy one.

This little rig has me looking very closely and thinking about extending my garage just so I can purchase it as it was more fun to drive than I imagined!

Certainly not for everyone, a fun warm weather car with convertible top ease. Fit for 2 and comfortable on longer journey's. Has everything you need, adjustable seats, speed button and easy switch to manual, if your in the mood.

This car is so much fun to drive I actually look forward to my commute to work. I test drive similar cars in a much higher price point but chose the MX-5 because it had everything I was looking for in a car without blowing my budget.

Best car I have ever owned. And I have owned, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, MG, Everthing in this car is where it should be. And when you step on the gas things dissapear behind you. And you get 34 MPG consistently.

What can I say about the Mazda MX-5 ND that hasn?t already been said? If you?re considering a new fourth generation Miata, you already like the look of it. You have to drive this car. It is an amazing driving experience. Compared to my 2007 Nissan 350Z, my Miata feels more connected to the road. I never thought of my Z as a big, heavy car until now. So happy with my new daily driver. Going to work is now an absolute joy.

The MX5 Miata is just a fun, inexpensive sports car that is a blast to drive. This is my 3rd one. I started with a used 2001 2nd generation, upgraded to a used 2007 3rd generation, and now bought brand new 2016 4th generation. It has great safety and luxury features.

I love it. The only thing better than driving it is looking at it. The color arctic white which is really really light grey is remarkable. The black rims are just cool. It's small... two seats... small trunk... no complaining after the fact, just leave the junk at home and don't buy a lawnmower... and if you have kids and a dog prolly ought not make this your only car.
