23 yrs, 145,000 mi, 25-30 mi/gal, starts instantly

by Bunny from Nevada on Sun Mar 22 2015

I have no regret having to reinvest another $2900 to give my 2nd hand bought car in 1994, another lease for life. It finally died one day like someone's heart gave out after 21 yrs of continued unparalled service. Its engine needed to be rebuilt as they are no longer manufactured. I am looking forward to another 20+ yrs of the same service. Just need to give it a new coat of paint and it will shine like it just came of the showroom once again.

15 years old, continuous repairs

by dissapointed owner from Florida on Mon Mar 26 2007

had to take it in for repairs at least every three months. things just wouldn't stay fixed. had transmissions problems too, which i heard was common with this car. i didn't buy it but i did get it fixed up real good. the things that were braking where repaired and just rebraking. i had warranties on the repairs but its just too much hassle, and you'll spend more on repairs than the car is worth. 15 years old is perhaps just a little too old. finally gave up on it and got a newer car. if you find yourself with a car like this, just trade it in for what you can and get something modern.
