Just keeps going

Bought new in 97 to replace an '86 323 with 165k that wrecked. 122k on this one, and it burns no oil and gets 35-40 mpg. Starts every day, even in 20 below weather. I wish it had more pep, but does it's job. I have noticed that every 97 I see has rust on the front of the left rear wheel well. I trust it enough to let my college daughter have it at school 400 miles away. Great car. I have no idea how long it will last.

Bought the car new in 1998. After 11 years and 150,000 miles, there have been no repairs outside the wear items. It handles well, is reasonably comfortable, and is larger inside than comparable cars of its era. We get between 35 and 40MPG with the 1.5L engine and manual transmission. I drive it daily for work and we have traveled the east coast in it.
