Not to bad!

Its a pretty good car,but I think its a little expensive.I payed $67,000 for this thing? My 2000 bmw 740 Li was more expensive and a lot better. I guess its not bad, handles well, comfotable, reliable ect.But if I were you I'd buy it used.

Fantastic Car!

I've had my 2007 CLS550 for about a year now and it is absolutely incredible in every sense. Very comfortable to drive, but has performance like no other sports sedan I've ever owne or driven.

"Great all round performer"

Bought this car used with less then 10,000 miles on it. So far driven it twice to Canada and twice to new york. Best performance ever seen out of a standard luxury sedan V8, great handling and braking. Love the 7speed automatic specially during city driving i am reciving 16 mpg which is better then my last vehichle (BMW 550i) & my wife's brand new Lexus GS. So far no issues at 34,000 miles.

Too many problems.

I own a 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS. It is doing 28000 kms in normal driving conditions. Here is a list of some of the problems taken word for word from a service history provided by the dealer: 1. 4,659 kms - Knocking to front of vehicle when going over rough roads. 2. 8,144 kms - Knocking sound heard when vehicle steering locked fully. 3. 8,144 kms - Knocking sound coming from front when going over rough roads about 50 mph. 4. 11,216 kms - Slight rough idle. Check and rectify. 5. 15,781 kms - R/S front window squeaking when going down. 6. 17,797 kms - To repair cracks on L/R window sill finisher. 7. Noise from drivers side window going up or down. 8. 19,691 kms - To renew A/C Compressor, (HUMMING NOISE). 9. 21,497 kms - Front door rattling when going over a rough area. 10. Check front suspension, knocking sound heard when going over high hump. Also squeaking. 11.Left front door glass making noise going down. 12. 24,727 kms -Rattling noise from L/S front door. 13. 24,997 kms -To supply info for Engine Mounts. 14. 26,726 kms -To function test transmission (While on the highway, I lost complete power to the car and had to pull to the side) 15. 27,496 kms - To check drivers side window, making noise when going up or down when it rains. Rubber at front of the window ripped. 16. Check noise from drivers door - loose. 17.Check heave knocking under the vehicle. 18.Check ticking noise by wheels when turning. 19.Check screeching noise from engine, sounds like loose belt. 20.Engine pulsing being felt in car. 21.Tyre monitor sign coming on when the car is started after a couple of hours.

Do not judge this book by its cover

Outstanding body style. A true head turner. Inerior are similarly stunning at first glance. I owned the vehicle for six months, but the intrinsic flaws and mechanical issues were more than I wanted to accept. Significant brake noise with this vehicle (a metallic whistling when pressing the brakes) continued even after brakes were replaced. As others have stated, the ride was unexpectedly soft and did not have the level of performance expected from this model. The transmission was ackward and tended to jerk when accelerating from a stop. Sight lines were limited especially when looking toward the front passenger side. The Dealer was indifferent to these issues and explained them away as normal for this car. The car spent over five weeks in service over my the course of my six months of ownership. Bottom line, this is too much money to spend only to be disappointed. This was my third and my last Mercedes.

Wow!

We fell in love with this car just from the exterior looks and styling. We did not dream it would perform as well as it does. It has awesome power and handling. We get alot of looks from people checking the car out. We love it! We also have a Lexus but the Lexus does not even come close to this car in power and handling.

She's Amazing!

I like to consider myself a real car chick... but this one really did it right. With a sleek exterior, a comfortable interior, and out of this world performance... I've never been happier. I was initially attracted to her design characteristics and her amenities, but once driving her back and forth to Los Angeles on a weekly basis, I have fallen in love with her ease of manueverability and her comfort. Fabulous job Mercedes. She's truly amazing!
