Nice looking car with lots of bells & whistles!

Just what was needed at a very affordable price and surprised at all the extra included. A big fan of the heated seats and custom radio.

Great so far!

The funny thing is that it has more features than I thought! Too funny, I know. It checks various systems like charging, brakes and lighting as well as "fuel range"; something I need because I always run out of gas when I'm not careful.

Great, Reliable Midsize SUV

This was my first car and it was great. It had plenty on cargo space and leg room in the front and back seats for passengers. This car is a great midsize SUV and is not too big or too little and feels safe while driving. The 4WD was also a great feature to have in the winters.

Looks good, runs great

This vehicle has served us well. It has a rebuilt engine (Jasper) and a rebuilt transmission. Well-maintained with moderate wear and tear. Selling because we got great deal on a Ford Escape hybrid.

Basic transportation reasonable cost

the car met my needs, it is only a 2.3 Ltr engine, and has a small gas tank so I end up at the gas station often. the car is VERY reliable, I have driven it for 11 years and it runs very well. I have replaced the battery 3 times, and have done some break work and tie-rod replacement and two repairs to the exhaust, but the engine is solid. I have 84K miles on it and will probably drive it for another year or two. Solid commuter car.

Great Car for Grandaughter

I purchased this vehicle using cars.com and it was a great experience. This car was sold by an individual that was 400 miles away. I knew what I was looking for and found it. I submitted an enquiry to see if it was still available and got a response the next day. We corresponded back and forth over email about the condition of the car and I made an offer that was accepted. Four days later I was driving the Mariner home. I purchased this car for my granddaughter who lives in a rural area and 4WD was a must. She loves the vehicle. Thank You cars.com.

Very reliable, practical and comfortable

We bought the car new and ordered the limited 4WD model. Now have 110,000 miles and we're totally happy with the vehicle. We have not had any mechanical problems and have taken it to our local Ford Dealer for all service. This is our 1st SUV and we love the practicality, driveability and comfort. Mileage is not great, average 16mpg in city and 22 on highway, but that is result of V6 and 4WD selection. The backup sensors work great, the radio/CD player are excellent, the info system is very useful and easy to use, and we've gotten very long mileage on the 2 sets of tire (about 60,000 miles).

Hybrids are fun

For my first Hybrid, this model was exceptional to learn on. I was afraid the 4Cyl would not perform well on the freeways, but I love the electric battery charging when I'm idling. This car gets GREAT gas mileage.

Functionality is key

Vehicle handles well; however, it has a pretty rough ride. Realize this is a small SUV and the V6 doesn't get very good gas mileage...I was hoping for a little better since it's such small vehicle. Overall though, it's a decent car.
