2007 Mercury Mountaineer consumer reviews

This truck has lasted me a long time. I’m just looking for something smaller. Motor runs great. Just needs a new shift solinoid. The exterior is a maroon color. And this inside is a tan color.

We bought our 07 Mountaineer with 82k on it in 2014. It is the top trim Premier Model with the AWD and V8. There are no options missing on this particular one. I wanted a good towing SUV that was a midsize. The Mountaineer can tow up to 7100 pounds which is quite a bit for a midsize. She now has 166k on her. I have replaced the radiator, the transmission was redone at 160k and new brakes. Other than the usual maintenance being done, "Grace" has been a wonderful vehicle with no unusual issues. We tow a 24' travel trailer up and down the northwest and coastal ares. A great affordable SUV.

Owned for over a year. Runs smooth as butter. Electronics and interior were awesome. Handled all weather conditions without a hiccup. Very reliable and solid car.

This is a very comfortable ride. I am the original owner and this car has never let me down. The sound system is very good and it comes with navigation

Smooth ride on the highway, better than average fuel economy. More than enough power,proven engine. Tows well, comfortable up front and for passengers. Power folding third row seats.

I love this truck. Mr. reliable. Has all the features you could want, luxurious, but all truck! Only negative is gas mileage....its terrible 12.5 city.

I needed a bigger vehicle that would hold 3 car seats. I love the ride but we have just had a lot of problems with it since its purpose. I have a feeling that it was never checked out by the dealership and sold to us that way.

Bought a V8 Premier with 77k. Smooth ride, plenty of room, good power. Just an all around nice vehicle that offers comfort and versatility while providing a great look. I would buy again without hesitation. The V8 is incredible for highway driving

This vehicle is decked out. It has DVD player in the back for the kids with wireless headsets so they can watch a movie while you listen to the radio or just silence. :) Great smooth ride, it's comfortable.

This vehicle is the best I have ever owned. It has 201,780 miles and is not using oil. I am currently having front end work done to it, but will keep it until the wheels fall off. I have a new 2017 Ford Edge Titanium, but like the old Mountaineer better.
