Worse vehicle I've ever owned

This vehicle is the worse I've owned because of all maintenance I've had to put into it. These vehicles are known for their bad transmissions. I realized it when I spoke to a few mechanics that quoted me a low price on putting in since they fix this model transmissions on a weekly basis. Also the gas mileage is an average of 14 mpg. I keep wanting to trade it in but they don't give you much for this kind of vehicle so I'm stock with it for now.

Do not waste money for an unreliable gas guzzler.

top heavy, plan on buying tires a lot due to a poor design with awd system. Did not handle well also

Truly one of the most reliable vehicles I've owned

This car is decked out in black leather, navigation, heated seats, and so many more amazing features, I wish they still made them new today!

Very reliable SUV, best in snow Ive driven

I bought this used with 180,000 miles on the 4.0 engine, put 30,000 more on it and felt like the engine could have gone much further but was worried about the supporting parts at that milage. I had this truck during a very bad winter living in a very hilly area and was the best performing vehicle in the snow i have ever owned. The AWD gave me zero problems in over 6" of snow where there were many FWD cars slid off the side of the roads. It had the weight to keep it on the road, and the AWD provided excellent traction to get me where I needed to go. The MPG was pretty bad, averaging 13 between highway commute and what little city driving i did. Not recommended if you're driving any kind of distance, but great in incliment weather and very comfortable inside also.

After one month everything is good

Only had the Mercury for a month. Made one 400 mile trip and performance was good. Mileage has been a little lower that expected. Highway mileage 21 to 22.

Although the vehicle has a few flaws, I absolutely love it! It came with some nice amenities that were a nice surprise - beautiful chrome wheels! It is very pretty, drives great and I am totally enjoying it. I am so happy!

Amazing Luxury SUV

I bought my 2007 Mercury Mountaineer 4x4 new and have no regrets at all. The ride is wonderful, the seats are extremely comfortable, the leather is very plush and the Mountaineer just looks classy. My one and only complaint is the headroom. My husband, who is just over 6ft. tall thinks the roof is just a little low. However, with styling and comfort like this, both of us agreed to keep the Mountaineer for many years to come. I will never again go back to a Chevy or Chrysler product again!

Very pleased

Purchased a used 2007 Mercury Mountaineer Premiere. Vehicle was loaded with vitually every option available, Color is "White Chocolate". I've gotten compliments from many neighbors on how good-looking it is. This is my 3rd SUV ( previous 2 were Explorers) and the ride is exceptionally smooth. Even though it's an 8 cylinder, I'm getting about 20 MPG on longer highway trips. Love this vehicle !
