Was a fun test drive...
...I would likely have been back buying it, except I inherited a car a couple days afterward and was taken out of the market. I will be back to look at another Mini Cooper S in the future for my next car.

Great car
We love our mini! We are a family of four and this is a great car for us to get around in. It is also a great commuter car for work. The only complaint I have is repairs can be costly but over all best car for your money!

Very reliable, 160K miles and still runs like new.
Best car I've ever owned. Put 160000 miles on this car and it still runs like new. Must be one of the best engines going.

Nice fun car to drive
I generally enjoyed all the years I owned my Mini Cooper S Hatchback. The not so good points are the noise level inside and the ride comfort. You tend to hear and feel all of the little bumps on the road due to the low profile tires. But, the tires are also a major factor on the great handling aspects of the car. You can really take some corners at high speed without much effort. I am a little disappointed at the resale value for the car. It seems that Mini Coopers have lost some value in recent years due to the volume of cars produced. Reliability is average to most other cars, but very little room to perform your own work. This also makes it more expensive to have services performed on the car. Interior and exterior design is be best part of the car. Very retro look and feel to the dashboard, and body style. In all, a very fun car. Sad to let it go, but time to move on.
