by STICKSHIFT from STUART, FL on Wed Oct 01 2014

I HAVE OWNED 5 VW'S, 4HONDA'S & 1 TOYOTA, BUT THIS MINI IS THE BEST. IT WAS SUCH AN EASY DECISION TO BUY. DEALERSHIP MADE THIS ALL DAY PROCEDURE SEEM LIKE AN HOUR. NEVER BECAME FRUSTRATED AND CAME AWAY A HAPPY CAMPER.I LOVE TO DRIVE A STANDARD & THEY HAD NO PROBLEM WITH SUPPLYING DIFFERENT STYLES.I LOVE THE DRIVER & PASSENGER SEATS,THEY WRAP AROUND YOU MAKING YOU FEEL SECURE.LIGHTING IS FABULOUS.BACK SEAT HAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ADULTS.

overpriced for a basic car

by practical from Honolulu on Sat Jan 25 2014

The car hesitates when you step on the gas from a complete stop. The seats are uncomfortable. The standard exterior paint job is very plain--it needs strips, but that costs extra. The large speedometer in the center console seems like a strange location, a DVD player or GPS would be better use of that space. For the price, it could have more useful extra features--like lumbar support seats, strips, T-top roof.

Amazingly fun car to drive

by Villa056 from Cupertino, CA on Mon May 28 2018

The car is extremely fun to drive and cannot help to smile when driving. Road noise is a bit much when driving on the highways, but through the mountains this car is the absolute best.

Awesome MINI Coupe

by oneStan from Louisville on Wed Jul 11 2018

I've heard it described as the same feeling as driving a go-kart. Go-karts can't compare. Yes, the steering is tight like a go-kart, but that's where it ends when it comes to the base model. A smooth comfortable ride with decent acceleration and excellent braking. Some say it is limited, I say it is made for 2 and carries quite a bit of travel luggage in the rear. Of course you won't be helping people haul furniture or large quantities of supplies,,, but you can use your pick-up for those errands.
