Better than the reviews

It's a decent small suv. I think it's much sportier than the reviews (and I live in hilly, curvy Kentucky). But, it has several electrical gremlins that come and go. And MPG is actually pretty sucky for a 1.5 liter. While I think power isn't bad. If you want a cheap awd and don't keep cars long, it's a good buy. If you plan on driving it a long time, I'd buy something else.

Better Than What Professional Reviews Say

I test drove a 2020 SEL, and having read reviews in print and on video, I was expecting not to like this vehicle. My test drive experience reassured me not to listen to such reviews, but to drive it myself and draw my own conclusions, and that is that Mitsubishi has built a pretty decent vehicle, and is a great value for the money. It won't win any races, but the acceleration is more than adequate, as is road manners and handling. Do yourself a favor and take it for a drive. You be the judge.

Very Reliable

I am one of the first owners of this car when it first came out, it has almost been a year since i have owned it and I am noticing that some mornings it doesn't want to start. And I find that I have to press on the Breaks a few times before it will start, not sure why this is happening wondering if anyone else is having this problem as well? But over all I love this car its great on gas and travels well.

The reliable suv in the market

My friends have a lot of and different kinds of suv vehicles and all of them have mechanics and electric problems but Eclipse up to now has no problems or defects yet So I consider it the best among all its competitors

My first brand new car!

I love this crossover. It is so stylish and zippy. I wish they would of added remote start on the key fob as the app can be super slow. The interior looks like that of a luxury vehicle. The rear window takes some getting used to but after a while it is normal. The LED Daytime Running Lights are attractive but look off when paired with Halogen projector headlamps and fog-lamps. They should be LED standard. Gas mileage should be more but not bad. Another idea might be to use higher end parts inside the vehicle. Emergency braking and adaptive cruse control should be standard.

Excellent AWD for the money!

Much has been said about the back light that crosses the back window. I have zero issues with it and it does not impair my view at all. I also own a 2017 Outlander and the Eclipse Cross is much more comfortable. I actually like the Entertainment System and find it easy to use. You just need to take a little time. I don't feel much "body roll" as been in some reviews. Driver seat feels more like a cockpit than my Outlander which feels like I'm driving a bus. The Eclipse Cross has some Zip and doesn't need anymore power. Fuel economy is good if you don't drive like a mad man. The AWD has already helped in the monsoon season here in Arizona. Very satisfied and no issues so far.
