Bang for your buck

I have owned this car for 2 weeks and so far think it's great. I negotiated such a great deal for my Outlander which is the base model with the 5spd manual and only paid $16,800 for it with a sticker of $20,050. It has many perks in the standard features that most others charge for ie. bluetooth, 18 inch alloys, tinted glass making it very sporty and loaded. It has been getting great gas mileage with my mostly highway driving and I am averaging 29 mpg. The only complaint I have is it needs another gear with the stick transmission, at highway speeds 70+mph the engine noise is unbearable and runs at 3000+RPMS. Everything else is fine with me, I went in knowing it's a small underpowered engine so I don't expect to be racing it anytime soon but it's peppy enough. It's only front wheel drive but we just had our first snow and it did just fine, traction control helped greatly going up steep hills. Interior is bland but nice, seats are comfortable, and materials seem to be of higher quality and again I am basing all this off of the lowest base model so one can only assume the up level SE has to be dressed up much nicer. I love it, and it will be with me for the next 5 years. I'll keep updating to let you know how it fairs as the miles rack up.

Alot of car for a little money

Just purcased a 2013 Outlander Sport from Mitsubishi North in Columbus, Oh. and it was by far the best purchasing experience we have ever had! From our sales professional-Hermando, to the sale mgr, to the owner, it was just an awesome buying experience!I very highly reccomend Hermando and Mitsubishi North for your next new car/suv purchase. The car itself is great as well. It has more technology than I know what to do with. We got ride of a 2011 Prius because of the dreaded Prius seat design. Things to list under"couldn't tell on the test drive". Got the black leather /heated seat on the Sport and I'M LOVING IT! Panoramic roof is great for sky gazing. The sound system is better than the system we have in our home. The overall look and quality really has surpassed our estimations. It really is a lot of vehicle for a small bit of money. Now I ask you, how many cars can you say that about?

The best car I've owned

I've had my car for 14 months and have been extremely happy with it. It does have some noise when driven in 4x4. I go up and down mountains every day and it does as good as other cars as far as speed. The space between the front and back seats are small but not hard to live with. Its not as expensive as some other SUV's. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great value

We got a 2013 Outlander Sport several months ago and have been extremely happy with it. The main drawbacks that you read about from other reviews are a) the lack of power, and b) the noise. And while both are somewhat true, they are hardly a deal-breaker. The smallish engine does sometimes seem to lack pick-up in some situations. But in general that has never been a concern-- we don't race or aggressively try to pass cars on the highway for instance. And the car can be noisy in low gears due to the CVT. I've never driven expensive cars, though, so it's not like I'm used to Lexus-style quiet rides. Thus, it's not something that's bothered me. The other features are great. The interior is classy and stylish. The exterior is cutting-edge. The cargo space is perhaps not as much as other small SUVs but there is still a bit of space. The warranty is better than any other we found: 5 year bumper-to-bumper, and 10 year power train. The last great thing is the price: while some other SUVs we looked at had a bit more space and more power, they were all running $3000+ more than what we could get for this car.
