Perfect car for me!

I was looking for an inexpensive, fuel efficient, reliable commuter that I fit comfortably in and I can fit my whole family in. Since I'm 6'5" and ~260lbs my fitting in a fuel efficient car is practically a non starter. I found what I was looking for and then some. I can even fit in the back seat, so I have a good feeling that when my kids get to be my height we'll still be able to use this as a family car. I'm getting 31-2 mpg in a mix of city and highway (rush hour at that). We'll have to see about reliability, but given Nissan's track record it should be solid. Another bonus was that I can get my bicycle in the back with only the front wheel off if I fold down the back seats. As downsides I would list that it picks up a lot of road noise, lacks power with the I4 CVT, and a strong wind at highway speeds will push you around. I live in Colorado and had no problems in the snow this winter, but with low clearance I wasn't taking it out when we got 2-3' of snow until the roads were cleared. It is a bit light so it doesn't get great traction in the snow. My former car was a Continental with a V8, so that could be why I feel this lacks power. It's enough power to maneuver in traffic, but I knew I was giving up power and acceleration when I decided to get a fuel efficient vehicle. I love my cube and it's fun to see all the attention it gets.

quirkly looking car

This is the first car I bought in 15 years. My old van is a 4 wd gas hog. I'm convinced peak oil is near, so.... The Cube is a good handling car..steers fast and corners well. The CVT transmission allows for quick acceleration. In city, driving modestly but not slow, my gas mpg is 30! This is an urban commuter, it blows around a bit at highway speed. The interior is roomy and seats 5. I know, I know, what do I know after 15 years. I used to race cars and still know about performance. The Cube is a good value for the money.

LUV MY CUBE

I was looking for a car for my 18th birthday, saw the cube and fell in love with it. I have the pearl white Krom. I love the mood lighting and the funkiness of the overall car.

I don't, but I should sell Cubes

It is the funnest vehicle I have ever owned in my 60 years. It is a hoot to drive and the best part is the people that stare. Some laugh, some point, but all take a gander. I drive it once a week 300 miles round trip to San Antonio. My favorite feature is the comfort seats. That is what sold me on my Cube

31 MPG AVERAGE

WE LOVE THE WAY IT RIDES, HANDLES, BETTER THAN AVERAGE WELL DESIGNED INTERIOR AND WE THINK THE EXTERIOR IS SEXY. SOMEONE SAID IT WAS FOR THE YOUNG FOLKS, WELL WE'RE FIFTY SIX YEARS YOUNG. VERY SMOOTH ON EXCELERATING AND SUPER BRAKING. AIR BAGS ALL THE WAY AROUND MAKE ME FEEL EXTRA SAFE. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO ON A TRIP IN IT.

Bought for the wife but I love it as well

Our little Cube SL is loaded and ready for cruising right out of the gate and price wise there was nothing that even compared. We tried the Fit and the Soul, both felt like junk, spungy and not worth the money. We gave the Scion a chance as well as teh VW Bug but had to spend well over 3K more to get the same features. My wife drives her Cube everywhere. She is very picky about cars and wanted something unique. The Cube was just that and a bonus...the features. It really is a neat little car, great MPG and handles really well. The CVT is peppy and accelaration is great (added the K&N Filter which really helped). Our little Cube turns heads everywhere we go. I own a Ford Flex and I love it as well but the Cube is just so much more fun! The interior is spacious, soft seats, great radio (ours has the Rockford Fosgate system) and the unique gauges are a bonus. This is one great ride!

Luv it!

Best car I've ever had, and I only have the base model with manual transmission (which is 6-speed and VERY smooth). I have 3 Kids and they all fit comfortably in the back, 1 is in a car seat and another in a booster. Great value for money, nothing feels 'cheap'. Was following a Dodge Viper the other day and I got more looks than IT did! Great gas milage, averaging 27.5 MPG city. Love this car!

I love feeling boxed in

I bought my cube 06-13-09 and really love it YOU REALLY DO get noticed on the road and everywhere else it seems. The car handles really nimbley and is peppy too. The seating is very comfortable, and the adjustable back seat is very handy when carrying a lot of cargo. The only things I would tell the designers to change are the drivers seat arm rest,it sits too low, also the drivers sun visor is no help with the sun especially when you swing it to the side it hangs at an angle so the sun still comes in thru the gap that the visor creates by the way it hangs. Other than that the car is great
