Very Reliable

Owned for 12 years, never had a breakdown. Good gas mileage, used it for a commuter to and from work. Back seat doesnt have a lot of leg room, trunk is pretty spacious for the size of the car.

I love my car but she needs a new home.

This car is reliable I will take you from point A to B and then some I just recently put 1500 into the engine from Nissan of Fontana this car will drive until the wheels come off I've taken care of it since 2006.. it just needs some love meaning three motor mounts and two front struts... other than that she's great..

Great First Car

This car has gotten me across country and many miles more, and has lasted 12 years and 210,000 miles before starting to need major repairs. It lacks interior space, however rides fairly smooth.

Great car if you can find one with a good body!

Great deal on the car to begin with, was in great shape. Engine lasts for a long time and is rather peppy. Great on gas, rarely needed work. Would recommend as a first car for anyone, especially if you can get the sport edition.

Reliable and efficient car

Great for daily commuting. Awesome efficiency of 25mpg. Highly recommend. Engine has been working perfectly for my 2005 Nissan Sentra without any issues.

Great small car.

2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S Special Edition in Cloud White. 135K when my family was ready for me to have it (June 2016), 146K now (July 2017). This car has worked well for me. As a college student, I was able to move all my clothes, supplies, etc., along with a ton of music equipment to and from school. I was surprised at how much I was able to fit. I feel a bit tall for it, however, and hours on the highway made me ache a little. By far my favorite part of this car is the feel when I'm driving it. The steering wheel and throttle respond so instantly, and the car is so light and nimble that it's a joy to drive, even just around the block. I wish the engine were more powerful, because acceleration is lacking a lot of the time, but it is very fuel-efficient. I get 35mpg on the highway, and 23 in the city. Feature-wise, it's pretty sparse, especially for a Special Edition, but maybe not for a mid-2000s small sedan. It is currently at 146K. The one we bought had some engine issues when we bought it (with 3 accidents by previous owners), but the drivetrain held up really well over the past year/10K I had it for. We had to repair a motor mount and the power steering system (which was leaking), but other than routine maintenance and general TLC that was all. I'd expect a car that was actually maintained in the past to go over 200K. It feels very solid. While I am looking for a bigger car with less miles, I have to say I enjoyed my year with the Sentra a lot.

Very dependable car

My 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S has never let me down, even in the cold winter months of the Chicago suburbs. For a smaller car, it rides decent too and has an audio system that is comparable to high end luxury makes such as Lincoln, Lexus, or Infiniti..

Plastic is wearing out but such a good little car

I currently have 170,000 miles on my Sentra and, other than changing out the struts, fuel pump (known issue), and a couple of belts, this little guy is a low maintenance wonder. The plastic is starting to wear out in the car and I've had a couple things break because of that. The CD player has been non-operational for years but generally speaking it is a fantastic car. I get about 33 mpg and have always used synthetic oil in the engine.

waste of money!

I've owned this car for a year now, i bought it with only 60k miles on it, it has 80k miles now and i already had to change the head gaskets, the radiator, the fuel pump, the spark plugs and cables, brakes. cd players won't spit out my cd and won't even play. the performance is horrible, brakes keep making a squeaky sound even though i already changed them. it has a low RPM and on stops and red lights it starts vibrating and makes an annoying sound. overall it is a waste of money!
