Mass problem with the MAF.

There should be a recall for the Mass Air Flow sensors. I've seen hundreds of complains and still no recalls where made. It obviously, an manufacturer issue.

First car I own

Honestly thought it was good when I first got it pretty reliable. Somebody told me the car transmission breaks down after 100,000 miles. From what I read it happens before so I feel lucky(not actually lucky). Today this is my worst ever investment could’ve tooken better care of it tbh but still how does every body transmission end up failing?

Know how to live with the issues, it comes with.

I have a 2014 Nissan sentra. First 30k miles were fantastic. No issues at all. Then started with the air flow sensor. Replaced it. Transmission went out at 60k miles. Fixed it. At 80k air flow sensor goes out again. This time, it's not the sensor anymore but car does not goes over 35 mph. No one can not seem to pin point the issue. It was sitting in the garage for a year. I stop paying for it. Not even the repo guys want it. SO, I gave it to a junk yard around my house. End of problem

Great first car

This car meets all the needs for a first car purchase for our 16 year-old daughter. It is safe, reliable, stylish, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Loved my 2010 Sentra. The 2014 is garbage.

I had a 2010 Sentra SE-R which I loved till it was written off when I was rear ended. I purchased the 2014 SR in a rush because I needed a car asap and I didn't have any problems with my first Sentra. This was a big mistake. Although I do like the exterior, it's not as sporty or nice as the 2010. There is a surprisingly lot of leg room in the back seat and the trunk is spacious. The back seats flip forward which is nice for transporting skis, bike etc. - interior is horribly uncomfortable. The headrest is tilted too forward to the point where it is really awkward if I wear a pony tail no matter how high it's adjusted - the headspace is too low, if I lean forward I hit my head on the roof even when the seat is as low as possible - the roof material is so cheap. - inside trim is ugly and cheap. - windshield wipers suck - seating is awkward. Although there are steering wheel controls to change the radio station, if you have to change it on the actual unit you have to reach far - there are 3 sirux XM stations which is annoying to flip through. Other things: - lots of electrical problems - key fob sucks batteries fast I regret purchasing this vehicle. The inside is cheaply made, especially considering that it's a higher trim level. Maybe it would be okay if you are shorter but do not purchase if you are tall.
