This car does exactly what I needed a new car to do.

This car does exactly what I needed a new car to do. I bought mine in July of 2025 and now 7 months later I have not had one issue with it. It gets great gas mileage, is very comfortable and I love the info system and stereo, For the money you cannot go wrong, this is my first foreign car and now I am done paying a arm and a leg for anything from Ford or GM.

This is a well put together vehicle.

This is a well put together vehicle. Interior fit and finish, even for the base S model, is splendid and many newer safety features come standard. The seats on the base S are very comfortable on long drives. Ive read a few "pro" reviews that mentioned the engine being underpowered, especially for highway passing. I have found the opposite out of this beautiful 149 hp CVT. I mean it's 149 hp, not 189; not sure where any complaint of being underpowered comes from? And, the CVT has wonderfully placed mimick shift points that make you feel like its a non-cvt transmission. Besides being ahead of the others with the interior, it's a well insulated cabin which deafens quite a bit of road noise. If your thinking about a Nissan Sentra, don't listen to these "professional" knucklehead reviewers. I believe they're not as accurate as the average Joe like us and have lost sight of what a great entry level sedan is.

I have a 2017 Sentra with 55,000 miles on it.

I have a 2017 Sentra with 55,000 miles on it. Two months ago, it started having trouble with the transmission. It would suddenly slip out of gear, a very dangerous situation. The dealership did a diagnostic and determined the transmission had to be replaced. Nissan had extended the warranty for the transmission, because they knew it was faulty. That extension covered the transmission up to seven years or 84,000 miles. My car was well under that mileage, but because it was one year out of warranty, they want to charge me $8500 for the replacement. I appealed to Nissan USA (case number 55179145) but they wouldn’t help. So my car is essentially totaled after 55,000 miles. I will never buy another Nissan. Terrible automobile, and they won’t even stand behind it.

I really love my new car.

I really love my new car. This is the 3rd Sentra that I have had. It is really comfortable and is a very good-looking car. I haven't learned everything there is to know about the car but the reference guide is very helpful. My last car was a 2010 so there are some major differences in it but I am learning!
