Car that is a Cadillac in an Oldsmobile body.

This car is my all time favorite vehicle and I am very sad they no longer make them. High level of luxury, just like a Cadillac (it is built on a Cadillac base) but with an Oldsmobile shell. This car sails down the highway, is excellent for around town driving, but excels on road trips. Smooth, tight, efficient, wonderful car to drive.

Very nice car to own

This car has been in my family since new. My beloved parents bought it new. My older sister bought it after my parents passed away. Now I own it. Between my sister and I we had to invest some money on it for repairs. Wheel hub, engine mount, blower fan, intake plenum boot even though it is well maintained. It has a cadillac northstar engine in it. Caution, use O.E.M. water pump and engine parts this engine can be finicky. However, great driving car. Smooth engine, comfortable cabin and runs great. Unique style and design. Keep the oil and coolant changed regulary.

Oldsmobile Aurora

The Aurora has to be, without a doubt, one of the best cars Oldsmobile ever made. The cabin is quieter than the Mercedes S-Class, the ride is more comfortable than the Lexus ES, and the performance is better than the BMW 5 Series. The 1999 redesign brought a even quieter cabin. Not only was the Aurora intended to compete with import luxury sedans, it exceeded their overall quality.

Great Car!

This is the best car I have ever owned. I was lucky to find this example with only 17,000 miles, and traveled from New Jersey to Virginia Beach to get it. It was well worth it, since it is almost like new. The power and handling are similar to my previous Aurora, which was a 1998 model, and though the styling is not as futuristic as the 1998, it is still very distinctive. Biggest improvement is the interior styling, which is even nicer than the previous model. It is loaded, like most Auroras, handles great and gets excellent mileage, even with the 4.0 V-8. I would definitely recommend this car.

Good car for the money, but it's not a good car.

Great looks, extremely comfortable, has all the safety bells and whistles. Always seems to have an issue of some kind. Antifreeze leak, $500 bucks later and it still leaks from someplace. Intermediate steering shaft kaput. Sliding sun roof leaks when it rains. Drivers sun-visor latch broke. Sun-visor cover beginning to sag as is head liner. A pillar leather cover coming off. The North-star engine isn't all it's cracked up to be. One quart of oil every 800 miles to me is unacceptable. 18.3 miles per gallon on the average driving in and around a small town. They're cheep to buy since Oldsmobile went belly up so for the money it's a good car. If I had to pay full price for this car I wouldn't be very happy. What ever this is, a Toyota Camry is better at.
