Gonna miss it

Great fun car. Too bad Pontiac is no more. The 240 HP and 6 speed manual is super fun. The interior is super refined for it's time and the price.

Nice Car But The Reiability Is Bad

I Just Got My Car Feb of 2017 with 23,000 miles was told 1 owner an older gentlemen who passed. I've had the car less then 1 month and already had the brakes replaces and a tie rod replaced Now my warranty is up and I am experiencing the same issues. I don't know what else is to come but first chance I have I will Defiantly be trading this car in I'm Not driving the car for looks I'm driving for reliability....... Horrible

Has been a great car

It has 190000 miles & the only repairs have been wheel bearings. Something happened and all the oil leaked out prior to a two-hour Drive across States. This was a year ago and the engine is still holding up!

Great Car!

I bought this car brand new on January 1st, 2006. It has been a dream! Fun to drive, beautiful styling, comfortable, powerful and quiet engine. I have replaced the radio twice, fixed a steering shaft issue, and a wheel bearing. Other than that, just normal maintenance. I'm approaching 90k miles, and it still gets the fuel economy on the sticker (21.29), I actually average 30 and above on the freeway. I don't know why others have had so many problems, my only guess is that the first owner really put the car through alot, then got rid of it, so the second owner is dealing with the fallout. In any event, I can't imagine loving another car as much. Exterior styling is classy and elegant yet sporty and youthful.

Lemon

Bought this car new. Many, many problems with a 6 yr old car with less than 62K miles. Electrical problems are rampant. A/C work intermittently but currently not at all. Low beam headlight on driver's side works intermittently. Service tire monitor light is on. Rear driver's side door only works manually. Check engine light comes on intermittently. Water temperature gauge works intermittently. Took car to dealership for diagnostics and was told that repairs would cost about $4K and Frank Kent Cadillac would offer 10% discount. Contacted Pontiac and they said they would partner with the dealer. No additional considerations. Checked Internet and discovered that most problems could be associated with BCM connection failure. After checking Internet with problems with this car, I would not suggest anyone own it because manufacturer will not take responsibility for repairs. There are currently 9 recalls listed on Motor Trend for the car and GM does not have parts to fix most issues.

Best car I've ever owned

I own a 2006 G6 with over 180,000 miles. I purchased this car used in 2008. Since then I have replaced a hub bearing, brakes, tires, and a battery. Unfortunately my CD player has given out but the heat and air conditioning work excellent. The interior is comfortable and the car handles great. The V6 has plenty of get-up-and-go, and it is fun to drive. I love this car and have not had any problems from it at all.
