214,000 miles and still going

I bought this car used in 2012. Over 10yrs later and 214k miles she still rolling. I did have to replace power steering sensor last year and unfortunately it has to be reprogrammed in shop or would of saved chuck of money. My evap solenoid is giving me trouble but my heat my AC my radio my windows all work and I would buy a brand new one if I good. Lots of replaced headlamp bulbs over the years but once rewired it made much better

Most reliable car ever

My mom bought this car brand new in 2009 and I bought it from her in 2016, and finally now at 245k miles it finally needs a timing chain replacement and I'm making the decision to let it go. This car has taken me all over America multiple times over on 15k+ mile road trips. It has gone off road (not well but did it), zips up and down mountains, handled extreme cold (-40 F) and extreme heat (128 F) with no problems whatsoever. Even the transmission still runs like a dream, and i was really hoping to get a little more time from this car, but it's gotta go. Would absolutely buy another one if Pontiac was still around.

My review of the Pontiac G6 !

Purchased my 2009 Pontiac G6 V6 in 2012 with 39,000 miles on it and I still have it today. Very dependable even with over 250k miles on it. Never had to do anything major to it. It does need a tune up and minor repairs from wear and tear over the years. Overall, I love my Pontiac to say this was my first car I purchased on my own at the age of 19 and can say I still have it driving it daily. I wish they would still make Pontiac’s because it would make a great first car to those coming out of high school and need something reliable with low cost maintenance. I call my Pontiac “The Silver Bullet” due to it getting down the road with no problem.

2009 Pontiac G6

Bought this car new in 2009. We still drive this as our main car. V6 and now has only 90000 miles on it. This has been one of the most reliable cars we have ever owned. It has been garage kept and still looks new. We are so sure of this car that we are giving it to our granddaughter now that she is turning 16.

A shame Pontiac was killed off

Our son bought his car 2 years ago with 67500 miles. It was a one owner 4 door sedan base model. It has a 2.5l 4 cylinder. What a terrific car for him, it rides really nice and is quiet inside, not too mention very roomy, around town it gets around 23/ highway 32. He loves driving it, the AC still blows ice cold, handles great in the snow, and has plenty of standard features; ABS, traction control, stabilitrak, cruise, am/fm cd player, power seat, pwr windows/locks, daytime running lamps. It rides close in comfort to my wifes 2013 Malibu. We upgraded the oem stereo and speakers last year for more features and the speakers were tired. The only turnoff some people may have is the interior seats are cloth, but theres a lot of hard plastic on the dash and door panels, but then again most cars from this era were built like this. We also installed a backup camera as well. If you find one you wont be disappointed, at 78000 miles and 11 years old, no oil leaks, no oil burning, just a great running car.

Reliable vehicle.

I have owned this vehicle for about 7 years. It has been one of the most reliable cars I have owned. Sad they stopped making them.

Pontiac, shocked me for over a decade!

I owned this car for over a decade. It never gave me any trouble. It was reliable, the V6 was powerful, and the stereo alone was worth the purchase. Sadly, after 11 years in Upstate NY, the frame rusted through and it was no longer safe. If I could do it all over again, I would have had it Ziebarted, and I would still be driving it today.

Best price and quality used car

This car is just what I wanted. Excellent condition, low mileage. Has a clean Car fax. The salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable. The office staff was very friendly. No pressure or hype.

If you love it, go for it.

The one I bought was 6 years old, and only had 30,000 miles on it! It was too good of a deal to pass up. I kept it for 3 years and put 75,000 miles on it. I didn't have any major problems with it other than wire corrosion in the headlights. I was never in love with it, so I got sick of it and sold it. Reliable and nice though. If you love it, go for it.

Very good reliable vehicle

This car met all of my needs. I loved it and it was great on gas. Great car for trips if you don’t need a lot of room for a family. Isn’t too uncomfortable at all. Quiet little car and stylish as well.
