Reliable and Fun first car

I've had this car for four years and I love it. This car is super reliable and is fun to drive. The gas mileage is good, the design is great, the seats are comfortable, and the features are simple, but nice. I just wish the interior material was better and the car had a little more horsepower. I would drive this car forever if I could.

Great Long drive car

Bought mine from older man for 900$ with 103k miles on a dash and drove it home (1hr) . No major issues since then! FS oil always. I only replaced radio, headlight assembly bc wanted something more appealing and that’s all! Now 116k miles and drove it from GA to PA multiple times with two stops no issues! Not best comfort car but it’s ok. Gas wise

spend all your money repairing

this car runs great at times. but i find myself replacing parts that you never ever replace on vehicles. ive owned many different cars and vans. example as ive owned 2 different grand ams a 2 door and a 4 door. on both cars i replace both sides the power windows quit rolling up and down. replaced ignition on the one. sun roof quit opeining. fair gas mileage tho. small interior as if i put my hair in a pony tail my hair is touching roof. too small interior.

My favorite car I've had

Been about 5yrs since I've had my 03 Grand AM. I had the 6cyl and took it to 227k miles trouble free until it just went out on me. I bought it from a dealership with 80k miles on it. It gave me absolutely no problems until check engine light came on and engine went out. I would get the high mileage oil change at Walmart. Smooth idle...ac was cold...it was just a reliable car and I loved it. I currently own a 2015 Cruze LTZ that I bought because of the Grand Am. I don't know about the reliability of the 4cyl but the 6cyl was a beast.

Great car all the way around, except one thing...

Love my grand am GT. I have owned two. Both of them being the GT2 trim with the 3.4l V6. One of the cars I owned, I begged the xxxx out of it and it has kept strong for the last 20,000km I have put on it. I could not ask for better. But on my other Grand Am GT, the head gasket went. But that is normal considering it was a faulty set up from the factory with the 3.4l engine. I would definitely recommend this car to a friend, especially for the price as well as it’s reliabilty and parts availablity when required.

Most reliable car I?ve owned

This car was my first car I ever got. I got it three years old of the lot. It never had any huge issues more than maintenance. When I traded it in it was 15 years old with 300,000 miles on it. It was still running :) I would recommend this car to everyone.

Great Little Car

I got my Grand Am GT in 2008 and have not had it for 10 years! I have only had one serious problem where it has left me stranded once, the only thing is that the dash is shrinking and warping really bad but other then that this has been a great car for me and the real reason why I have held on to is for so long.

An affordable car that is beautiful and sporty

The interior is a little more comfortable as compared to my 2013 Cadillac CTS AWD. The ride-height is lower than most the cars I've driven and this car has more features than you would expect for it's age. Exteriors are well designed, look sporty and relatively fresh.
