THE BEST OF THE BEST

This is absolute best car have ever owned, it was a dream when i first drove it. I mean the handling is just supreme, this vehicles changes direction faster than anything else and it is an excellent balance between handling and power, the transmission too is also smooth. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who can afford it.

2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4 - Awesome Drive

The Targa 4 is an awesome vehicle. The Targa roof is a very practical feature, allowing for open air driving without all of the noise and buffeting of the cabriolet. The Targa also allows better access to stowage in the rear of the vehicle Great car, a blast to drive, and comfortable for long trips, too.

911 twin turbo

My guards red twin turbo is just an amazing car. Bought new in April 2007 this car does it all. It is AWD with lots of power. I cannot think of anything this car is not capable of. I recommend a turbo to anyone who wants to really appreciate what a Porsche can do.

Most Reliable and Fun Car

Hard to believe, but test driving sporty convertables, I had avoided Porsche. After only 20 seconds driving this wonder machine, I was in grin heaven. With space for legs (driver side has more leg room than passenger), space behind each seat for airline carryon luggage and same luggage in bonnet (front trunk), incredible balanced performance, and Consumer Report top reliability ratings, this car is an excellent buy used. Try travelling with a MR-2 with luggage, not going to happen! The balance of power and road hugging is a joy to drive. Top down fun, when it isn't raining here in Oregon, simply adds to the joy of motoring through twisting roads in hilly wine country or along a mountain stream. At least give one a test drive. Oh, when putting the top down, always give the cloth a little push just before the alignment pins engage to ensure the pins do not puncture or stress the cloth top. Driverside just above the rear door latch is the most commonly damaged area. A simple push makes sure the fold is in, not out, to avoid the pin. Don't be like me and assume the car is too expensive. Used prices are in line with your average dull car. Resale value holds better than most cars. Not a car for those who can't control their road rage or impulse to floor the gas pedal. After all, 2nd gear gets you to 40-60 MPH with four more gears to go!

A peronal relationship with Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde

Time spent in the new 997S cabriolet soon becomes a personal and intimate relationship. The car communicates to its driver in a fashion that no other car matches. A light touch on the steering wheel tells pleasantly of every seam and groove in the road. PASM adapts the suspension to make the car not only a viable daily driver, but a comfortable touring car as well with a respectable 24+mpg at freeway speeds. Push the "sport" button, and Dr. Jekyl becomes an aggressive and eager Mr. Hyde, unleashing the full potential of the 355 hp, 3.8-liter, flat six through some creative computerized re-mapping of the engine and PSM limits. The sport exhaust provides a serious growl at lower rmps, and absolutely screams above 4,500 rpms. This car requires skill to it drive near its limits, but most owners will never come close to exploring the potential of this car unless they spend some serious time at the track. Must have options: Sport chrono w/ PCM, sport exhaust, Bose. With a daily 120 mile r/t commute, this car and I quickly became quite close. Simply, it's one of the best cars I've every owned.

The Best Car for Everything

I've owned my 911 Turbo about 5 months. I can't stop driving this car. It is the Best Car for everything thrown at it. I can drive 35mph or 150mph. The car is happy no matter what. I've owned several other Porsche's. This is hands down ,the best.

750 Miles: Superb

The 2007 Carrera S is significantly improved over the a 2000 Carrera Cabriolet I owned. Both more refined and sporting at the same time. The engine power, torque, and exhaust note, are a joy. Ride quality on decent roads (due to the active suspension/shocks) is much improved, while the shocks automatically (or manually) stiffen for more aggressive driving. There is no hint of the classic 911 oversteer of old. The standard interior now suits a car in this price range. The Boze audio system is the first great audio system I've heard in a Porsche. Forty plus years of working on the same concept has paid off...
