2014 Porsche Boxster consumer reviews

We bought our 2014 Porsche Boxster Base in early 2016 with only 1,200 miles on the odometer from a Porsche dealer in NC. We’ve owned Corvettes, BMW 528i’s, Mercedes 300D’s, Subaru’s, Prius, Explorer, Suburban, etc and our Boxster is by far the best car overall! During the extended factory warranty we had it serviced at a dealer and their warranty was excellent. Now we use other experts for service and the have access to the factory maintenance and can reset the yellow service requests after completion. The 2.7 liter flat 6 is excellent and nothing beats the sound it makes above 4,000 rpm. Also ours gets 40+ mpg at highway speeds and corners like it’s on rails! Go ahead. Buy one!

The Porsche Boxster looks good and drives good too. Everything you need to make it fun to take the long way home, this car has it. If you love to drive, this might be your car. A convertible roof a 465 watt Bose stereo, and a naturally aspirated flat six engine never go out of style. A pre purchase inspection and a good indie maintenance shop can help you avoid problems down the line. I have owned faster and more expensive Porsche models but none of them have a bigger fun factor on a sunny day. Or even a cloudy day. Buy a Boxster or a Boxster S and you are innoculated against stoplight envy forever. Or at least as long as you own the car. A Porsche CPO warranty last two years with unlimited miles and zero deductible. Get that and a thorough pre purchase inspection and you have a very good chance at a happy ownership experience. There may not be any perfect cars but this one comes close. A brilliant sports car.

If you’re all about performance, this is the car for you if you want comfort, reliability, ease of service, affordability, then avoid it... not the car for you. This car will break the bank.

This car had great styling was reliable, well engineered and well built. Never had any issues in the 6 years that I owed it and I only sold it because I was living the US to return to the UK and could not take it with me as it’s left hand drive.

The original build price of this car when purchased new absolutely explains the options and engineering that was desired. Five years later after depreciation, the only change was price. The creature comforts, instrumentation and performance is all there!

The Boxster S drive and handling is one you need to experience. The best driving and beautiful car ever. The lines and looks are great

My wife and I really loved this car. We test drove it and loved the style, performance and overall the vehicle is something we hope to purchase in the near future.

There is nothing like a mid engine growling right behind your ears at 7,000 RPM. just that noise alone was almost enough to close the deal for this car. The driving experience, fit and finish and engineering closed the deal. if you want a reliable sports car that has great usability, buy the Boxster. It handles better than a 911 at 1/3 the price.

I really love the 2014 Porsche Boxter 981. The handling and ride are amazing. The growl from the flat 6 can?t be beat now that they?ve recently transitioned to a 4 cylinder turbo engine. It?s the best value for the Porsche experience. 4 years old and had 20k mi and feels like it?s practically new. My only gripe is the base model should have electronic seat controls and a better stereo but can?t really complain when you can buy at 45% off from new. I?d recommend to anyone wanting a sporty convertible.
