2016 Porsche Macan consumer reviews

Haven't been this excited over a vehicle purchase in years. It far exceeds all my expectations and will be my "baby" forever! It looks and drives like new and is probably one of the finest SUV's on the market.

Was looking for a luxury SUV, but really personally love performance sedans. I reluctantly started looking at SUV's, and drove several including the Audi SQ5. Then I drove the Macan S, and that was all it took. I know the Audi and the Macan share a chassis, but you really wouldn't know it by driving them. The Porsche seats are both supportive, and supremely comfortable, and one thing I noticed is that they sit somewhat lower than the seats in the Audi...making the driving experience more akin to that of driving a sedan. Haven't really had a chance to sufficiently evaluate the performance of the vehicle, but thus far, it is the best driving and handling SUV I've ever experienced. We purchased ours through a Porsche dealer and got the Factory Certified Porsche warranty. Definitely good for peace of mind when purchasing a Porsche.

WOW...looks great, drives great, maintains great...will put a smile on your face driving to work. Get compliments all the time, not that it matters, but seriously!!!

I was looking to replace a small Acura RDX, which had been my first small SUV. For several years I wanted to have an SUV, but I always went for a car, went from Lexus RC, BMW 650i and lately 8 was between going back to BMW 650i, which had been the best car I’ve had, but when I test drive the Macan S, I fell in love. A month later, with a couple of 300 miles plus drives and commuting to the office, I love it! Drives like sports car, comfortable and has the space I need. If I could say something I don’t like, it came with the base sound system, it’s awful! I will upgrade to something decent, but the base is an embarrassment to the brand.

This has been an absolutely wonderful car to own. We liked it so much that we just purchased a new one. The Porsche Macan is a big step above the rest of the SUVs currently on the market. It all starts with the fit and finish. Everything is just about perfect. This vehicle handles like a Porsche. It is powerful, fast and a dream to drive. There are plenty of creature comforts as well. The all leather interior is classy, attractive and very comfortable. The standard sound system is better than most premium options on other vehicles. The panoramic sunroof system brightens the interior in a very pleasant way. This vehicle has been almost maintenance-free. Oil changes, windshield wipers and the replacement of a chipped windshield have been our only out-of-pocket expenses. This vehicle has always been garaged and has been detailed on a regular basis. We are non-smokers and have no pets so the car has retained its new-car smell.

With all the bells and whistles.. the car forms to you and handles great! I am sad to let this one go, but moving to a city where I can't have the car. Wish I had more time for fun road trips with the panoramic roof open and the BOSE sound system playing all my favorites!

This is my 4th Porsche and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised by the performance and luxury of the Macan. This SUV truly combines the functionality of a sports car and SUV into 1.

I have owned several Porsches and I have always been impressed by the quality of build and reliability. When I test drove the Macan S, I was very impressed by the quickness and handling from an SUV. This vehicle is roomy enough for my family and our dog. I'm glad I purchased a used Macan S; I feel like I got a lot of vehicle/features for the money.

I like cars, lots of them. But when I bought my Macan, it was LOVE! The fit and finish is outstanding. It drives like a dream, and I especially love the Porsche growl when I start it up. This is a car I miss when I go away. My husband says I miss it more than him! I love this car, did I say that. Sure, there are a couple of things I might change. It’s a little busy around the shifter, and doG help you if you drop something between the shifter and the seat. You might never find it, or in the case of my keys, it took 20 minutes to fish them out as I sent the seat forward, backwards multiple times. Short arms don’t help, but really, it’s awfully tight. Otherwise, I love this car!

Love the interior (black and red). Turbo; fast and smooth ride! I feel safe driving in the snow. Sensors all around, back up camera are great safety gadgets.
