Dealer was dishonest
I went to the dealer who said he had a 2012 Ram ST. When we got there he said the truck had just been sold. But he had a 2013 for just a little more $6000. We thought about it and tried to negotate him down as we had only the money for a cash payment of the truck we intended to purchase. We traved over a hundred miles to visit this dealer. He then offered to finance the balance. Since we have bad credit the interest rate was extrodinaryly high. 22% We walked out with him the sales man still trying to sell us.

Best one yet
Just purchased a used 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie Crew, black exterior, tan interior. I love it. Super smooth, very strong engine (as expected) and very capable for any job. I owned a brand new 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad previously, same colors, loved that truck - never should have sold it. So far, I have just done some light hauling, which it handles with ease. I did a good bit of hauling with my '05, so I know this one will tow handily as well. So far, no issues or complaints, except gas mileage of course, but that is to be expected with the HEMI. Everytime I ride by a Chevy, Ford, Toyota full size, I imagine the owner is saying to him or herself - "Man, thats the truck I SHOULD have bought!" - I just laugh and keep on riding. The RAM is the best looking truck on the market, and the best value. Buy one, you will love it, too.

disappointed 2012 dodge sport owner
bought this 2012 dodge sport, only have had the truck for maybe 6-7 months currently have only 8500 miles on it and it has been sitting at the dealership for the past 4 days with an engine knock (sounds like someone is taking a hammer to the engine block when running)

first truck
the fist ram I bought new was a 2010 ram 1500 trx4 off road slt crew cab & was a complete lemon! rear main engine seal leaking at 150 miles, power seat burnt out, led mirror lights burn out ever 2 weeks, front transfer case leaks, ect... after 19 months dealership bought truck back and I picked out a 2012 ram 1500 big horn slt crew cab, hemi, 3.92 rear diff, lux group, ect.... perfect truck so far and I have 10,000 miles on it with the only problem ever was a faulty dash sensor that kept the headlights on in the daytime and was fixed the 2nd day I owned it under warranty. no complaints on this truck, I feel like everything you buy...........you either get a good one or a bad one! Plenty of power almost too much with the 3.92 rear diff, and I love the factory duels! I used to be a GM guy but got weary with all the ball joints repair, breaks & rotors every year & engine leaks!

Most Bang for the Buck
I love this truck as it's a brute when needed but docile the rest of the time. A great value as far as I'm concerned. I'd buy another one without question.

First dodge ram I've owned
I always owned Chevy silverado but switched to dodge ram Because of power train warranty , business option Choices , options and ultimately price for value .. Unfortunately Chevy thought that for $3500 more they could sell me less options .. I might be female but do not wish to be dooped .. Shop and compare ram was better deal

Bang for the Buck
Was going to buy a Focus/Mazda but I could use a truck also. Found out I could get a 390 HP Hemi in a RAM 1500 regular cab with factory 20" wheels, six speed transmission 4-wheel disk brakes etc for the same amount of money and I went to work shopping, for a 2012 RAM 1500. I'm super happy with the truck and super happy with the deal I got even though I had to go over 500 miles to get exactly what I wanted for the price I got it for. A site like Cars.com made it possible to shop a 500 mile radius which is what I did.

Repeat RAM owner
I previously purchased a 2009 RAM for one of my sons so when my other son was headed off to college, there was no other vehicle to consider. The RAM is extremely reliable and comfortable with a smooth ride. The 2012 SPORT that was recently purchased is loaded and simply beautiful.

Worst truck ever! Factory Service Terrible!
I bought a 2012 Ram Sport,4x4, regular cab. Upon delivery the Uconnect system became a nightmare! Radio started cutting out, Warning came on screen Return to Dealer. Turn fan on and radio switches to aux. From 130pm until 530pm truck was in shop. Mechanics did not know what to do. Technical did not know what to do..Dealership refused to let me out of the deal even for another truck. One week later truck has allignment issues, speakers buzz, and uconnect still inop. This week, I spent 8 hours at another dodge dealership, they told me they did not know what to do, talked to techs and gave it a repair priority, Called Uconnect and told bulletin soon to be released on uconnect, however may not solve my problem. Poor excuse, for releasing a product without any diagnosis or manuals available. Also, cab gets extremely warm on trips, AC is necessary even when weather is 40 outside. Comming to a stop, sitting at a signal there is a bump sensation as if someone tapped the bumper. To date no Fix..

most powerful truck I ever owned
My only complaint was the gas mileage when I was towing a 4100 lb rv. I think the problem was that I used the tow/haul mode even though I did not go over 55 mph which keeps,I think, the transmission in 4th gear. Big mistake. It cost me $65 for 150 miles at $3.60 per gal otherwise the gas mileage is not to bad for the size of the hemi engine
