Disappointed it need a new transmission

Bought my 2016 Ram 1500 used with low mileage. Have had to take it to dealership multiple times for check engine and many times nothing could be found. Now it has been in the shop for 7 weeks because a transmission is needed and now the transmission is on back order. I have less than 80,000 miles on this truck and I have maintained regular maintenance through the dealership, so I was not expecting this type of problem with this truck so soon. I am glad I purchased the extended warranty and that it is covering this issue.

I love this track!

I have loved this truck since we bought it.. I really hated to let it go.. but our needs changed to something a little smaller, with 3rd row seats.. I even refused to trade it in when I bought the new vehicle.. ( trying to hold on a little longer lol) i have driven mine from tbe beach to the mountains with no issues!

Tranny is a LEMON! Complain.

I have enjoyed Dodge vehicles for years. I bought my first brand new Dodge Ram 1500 STICK shift new 2001. Then I bought my retirement Dodge 1500 Ram 9 speed on 20014, with 2 miles. I paid it off 5 years later. My tranny goes out after 71,000 miles, costs $9,446.39 warranty expired right after I paid my last payment & I even got a 1-year extension when I bought it Tranny is on hold because they stopped making them!

Just can’t get the smell of this xxx off me

I must say this. I have never been a Chrysler fan. And this is my second ram trk. The first one was a xxx. But after many yrs And seeing so many other rams on the road I just had to go for the eco-diesel After giving up my Chevy I purchased this 2016 ram. And in the first few months Surprise surprise surprise! The truck started messing up. First one thing then another. And I tried to get my dealer to do the recalls. But to no avail. Once they even told me it had the wrong weight oil in it. I’m now so disappointed with this xxx! Can’t use it But can’t get rid of it. So many people laugh in my face I not only purchased an eco-diesel. But purchased a Ram trk So if I live long enough to get away from this xxx. I’ll never ever screw myself like this again And as far as the money Chrysler has promised several times several years now. Guess that was another bald faded lie

When your – lights don't come off

You have a lot of people on a Rams site with the years between 2013 and 2016 complaining about their Uconnect not working and their – lights not shutting off and having to deal with it I see maybe you should do something about it

Bad Motors from Dodge

I bought a 2016 eco diesel dodge ram that was brand new. It was serviced at the dealers where I bought it. The motor had to be replace at about 75000 miles. The same dealer did the work. Now at 150000 miles the motor is gone again. I contacted Dodge about this and they are unwilling to help me in any way. Needless to say I am very unhappy.

Definitely the budget version of the big three

It is a decent truck but the quality is not up to the standards of Ford or Chevy. Only five years old and already rusting out.
