My driving experience with 2021 classic Ram

I bought a 2021 classic 1500 4x2 quad cab with 5.7 Gas engine. There were 2 rear differential axle gear ratio options, mine has the “hiway gear” but the truck pulls with plenty of power, I think most had that gear for fuel economy. I don’t like the idea that if I open the drivers door while in motion , a transmission brake applies and abruptly stops the vehicle. I was parking in a very tight spot and cracked. The door open and to my surprise, , the truck jerked to a sudden stop. I personally do not care for the dash knob to select the gear, it’s another electronic component that can fail, which in fact has failed . in other trucks. The 5.7 Liter engine was designed with the oil filter to be very difficult to reach , almost as if designed ‘outside ‘ the chassis without realizing once ‘in’ the chassis, the oil filter became extremely difficult to reach to replace .

Laramie lover

Spend the extra money for leather and heated and cooled seats . It’s well worth it . Have loved my Ram after upgrading to a Laramie from a 2008 Ram st . Back seat has plenty of room . Seats fold up to allow you to put groceries in .

Great Truck

We bought the Laramie with the sports package and just love it! Also got the etorque, did not think we would like but love it too! The gas mileage has averaged around 20. Love the comfort, the amenities, everything about it, has been a pleasure.

Paint failure over all of lower separate grill not

Lower front grill paint failure falling off.The area adjacent and next to it has no such problems.Which shows no failure to other seperate grill parts .The paint failure is isolated to the individual entire lower grill .The rest of the surrounding individual parts do not have the paint problems .People that see this paint failure feel if they buy a RAM pick up they will have the same paint failure.. Local dealer calls it road use but it is impossible when parts next to if show no such failure. .Paint failure is all over the individual part . Will RAM Corp respond ?

2021 1500 limited

I’ve had 2 5th gen ram, a 2019 bighorn and now a 2021 limited. 2019 I had almost 50k miles w/ only having a flickering LED issue in the passenger upper glove box. My 2021, i have 38k miles on it and it’s been great. I do get some uneven tread wear and wheel vibration, even after alignment but I’m kind of used to it now. But always feel like it’s very well made and reliable.

Very disappointed with the front seats

I love the truck, but the drivers seat is UNCOMFORTABLE. The outside edges on the seat are at too much of an angle up, they are hard, and cut into your legs/butt. VERY disappointed in the seat. Called multiple times, no one can figure out how to fix it.
