RAM 1500 Black Widow

I have test driven Ford, and Chevrolet trucks before, but this Ram is the best of them all. Bering over 6ft tall, kind of narrows my choices in most vehicles in the market today. I purchased a 2022 RAM 1500 (Black Widow) from Joseph Seplow of Schumacher CDJR of Delray Beach. It is equipped with their e-Torque V-8 Hemi engine and yes I do like the and use the stop/start technology during most daily inner city driving (no problems and if I desire I can turn it off with the push of a button, its that simple). Interior comfort is better than many cars, and provides tons of head room for anyone tall. Exterior styling is great too. Plenty of power from the 5.7 although it is a little on the thirsty side, even considering it has the larger 33-gallon fuel tank. Even with an off-road emphasis and 35” all-terrain tires, the ride is very quiet and comfortable. Ram trucks are a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, and since you're going to be using it everyday get what you feels comfortable and practical for your needs. Totally satisfied with my purchase.

Buyer Beware

The truck itself is a great one and I do enjoy it. But buyer beware. Ram re4movea piece of software on some Ram pickups that eliminate the use of the phone button on the steering wheel and the two usb ports lose a lot of functions. You can't show Google maps from your phone on the screen. You cannot make the truck a hotspot due the feature being removed. check the window sticker for a credit at the end of the list of features.

Ram / poor transmission

Purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500. Truck has died while driving three times and has less than 3000 miles and two months old Very scary and dangerous.

2022 Ram Rebel Is Top Notch

I’ve driven Ford, Toyota, and Chevrolet, but this Ram is the best of them all. I went with the Rebel and got one of the last non-eTorque V8 Hemi’s. No dumb stop/start technology with this combination. Interior comfort is better than many cars. Exterior styling is great too. Plenty of power from the 5.7 although it is a little on the thirsty side. Even with an off-road emphasis and 33” all-terrain tires, the ride is very quiet and comfortable. Ram trucks are a little on the pricey side, but Ram still offers some pretty decent incentives at times. You do get what you pay for. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Simply the best

Just purchased my seventh Ram 1500, Sport this time, four Laramie's, 3 Sport models. All I can say is that the RAM is the very best truck on the road and will remain that way because they have found the formula for success. Well Done Ram builders.

Some great features, but better choices out there.

The good: The interior overall is excellent. I have the large vertical screen which is some ways is nice BUT many features that should be hard buttons are then in this screen. Key ones are the heat and cool settings for the steering wheel and seats. The wheel heat button should be on the wheel. Really dumb design. The so-so: It is too big, the back seat is unnessesarily huge… makes the truck too long and heavy. The bad: The powertrain. The transmission and throttle are jerky at low speeds. The engine is loud but lacks power and the truck is slow. The eVolt system is a gimic and it does nothing. There is no way to secure the tailgate at 45 degrees. GM has a simple way to this. The really bad: My truck was $70,000 and the connectivity (ie. Start truck from phone) expires after six months. I find this totally unnacceptable. I spent an hour on the phone with Chrysler only to be told… too bad.

The Best Pick Truck in the Market

I've purchased the Limited 4WD model and this truck rides as smooth as my Mercedes Benz S580. The luxury and accessories of this truck surpass any other truck in this category. I used to be Ford F150 Truck person till after I leased a 2021 RAM Limited, where I knew that I had to purchase this truck. If you are in the market for this category truck, buy the BEST, the RAM 1500!!!!!!!

Switch from Ford to Ram, glad I did it.

Long time Ford F-150 owner jumped ship in 2022. Laramie is awesome inside and out. The fuel economy is really up to you. Heavy foot equals poor fuel mileage. I drive easy and find that I am getting around town with decent MPG. Comfort and convenience is incredible. Highly recommend that you test drive before buying something else.

Prepare For Compliments

Have had the 1500 Limited Longhorn in Black Pearl Coat for 6 months. Get at least a few compliments a week on the truck. It is beautiful inside and out. Pricey truck for sure, but it rides with the comfort of a car and has all the features you reasonable need. Interior space is plenty big for us and our two young kids to travel in. I would recommend this truck to anyone who wants the benefits and functionality of a truck, but the feel and features of a car. Just have to stomach the price tag….
