2003 Saturn Ion consumer reviews

The car overall is a decent running car apparently before I had bought it which I am now to Second owner there was an electrical issue and I cannot figure out how to get my Dome reading and trunk light to work there's no fuse indicating interior lights

The gauges being in the center was odd at first, but you get used to it. It has an impressive turn radius. It's not a powerful car, but it's reliable.

I really liked the lower and torque of the eco tech engine. The only drawback was the electric steering was not very refined.

Was my first car with over 100k miles on it and it ran like a freaking champion. I constantly abused this car +100mph and sent it off jumps and it never failed me. It's nothing real special to look at but its a solid first car

It hasn't given problems until the battery went out in it. After I bought a new battery it seems like everything else decided to go out all at once. The A/C first was pouring water out from under the passenger side dashboard into the floor board. Then it totally went out. Now there's not defrost,heat,a/c nothing. The window on drivers side stops working whenever it wants to. Then starts again whenever it wants to. The car has a mind of it's own I believe. But over all it's has been a dependable car until lately.

I bought it 3years old. It was beautiful. The only thing id change was the interior color. For an ice blue car the tan-yellow interior was ugly to me nd hard to keep clean. It drove like a champ and i had it for 8years. I never needed any repairs on it & it was easy to maintain.

I think this is a very good vehicle. I really like the gas mileage. Lots of trunk space. I'm 6'5" and 300lbs. It works for me. I hop in and out of it easily. People look at me in amazement when I hop out of it. I know they wonder how someone of my size fits in it but I do it very easily. I just get in where I fit in lol. Overall I like my experience with my Ion aka Tammy. Holla.

Their car was very reliable wish I can get another one I hope my wish comes true. Even had a sun roof.

After all these years, my saturn was with me from summer trips to blizzard days! This car is a keeper!

My parents owned 2 ion sedans a basic 2003 ion 2 sedan and a fully loaded to the hilt 2004 ion 2 sedan I now own a fully loaded to the hilt 2003 Saturn ion 2 Quad Coupe Thanks in part to cars.com I simply love the car and I have been in love with Saturn cars sense I was about 5 or 6 and recently convensed my dad to get my little sister a 1998 SL2 saturns no matter the milage year or model are safe reliable and runt to drive I had a jaguar and traded it for my Saturn I love my saturns
