My faithful Saturn VUE, worth every penny!
Bought my 2004 Vue, V6 new, 17" wheels, Honda engine and for the most part, has been a great experience to own. Too bad GM pulled the Saturn line. At the time, this suv was the largest of the medium-sized comparable amd with 250HP engine, I never had trouble with transmission, engine but mostly the ELECTRICAL issues habe me the biggest migraines. AC compressor went out too soon, but had it replaced with OEM fit but overall, Still impressed that 250K miles later, it's still faithful and running great. Have to probably replace catalytic converter soon as it has started to lack engine power but better than having a car payment and exterior still looks great!!

Best bang for your buck I've ever had in a car
If you treat her right she will run another 100000. Brand new tires and exhaust system. Front breaks have less than 1000 miles on them

'04 Saturn Vue
I owned this car for 5 years. Had some maintenance issues, had to put a new (used) engine in 2 years ago but overall it was a decent car to drive for the money. Interior was very loud, but I still liked this car for the most part. I loved the size, not too big, not too small and I loved sitting up higher than a car.

great 'lil suv for the $
Bought a brand new vue in '03, bare bones 4 cylinder stick. loved it, but it smelled of plastic that hurt my lungs. had to keep the windows open all year- in buffalo! so sold it after 2 years. just bought a 2004 cheap (in 2016) with the same engine, but it has more toys. this one is all out-gassed now, and I love the sunroof and sound system, feels like a convertible sports car with the top down and the 5 speed cranking. could be faster, turbo would be cool, but it's great fun! best of both worlds, can haul stuff and have fun, too....

2004 SATURN VUE 4 CYL 5 SPEED
My 2004 VUE has. 210,000 plus miles on it and is still going STRONG! I had to replace the radiator and starter. It needed a new muffler awhile back. The battery has been replaced a few times as well as the brakes as needed. Of course I bought new tires as needed. I always keep up on the oil changes. This SUV is wonderful! I hope to keep it running as long as possible. The exterior is in awesome shape as well. The Vermont winters are not a worry for me when I have my winter tires on it. I LOVE THIS VEHICLE.

2004 Saturn Vue 2.2L 5 speed
I bought my 2004 Saturn Vue with just over 100000 miles, and I expected to get a year or so out of it. 3 years and 70,000 more miles later, I hate to think of the day I sell it. I replaced the tires (once), replaced the serpentine belt, and did one set of brakes. Past that, oil and filter changes. This car is the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. I would not own one with a variable ratio trans, but the 5 speed is great. These cars can be had for little money, and they are ultra-reliable. If you need a car and are short on cash, the Vue is an excellent choice. Good in the snow and decent on gas too.

Reliable & Simple
Have a 4-cylinder 2.2L vue, at 180,000km. The gas mileage isn't too bad considering the car's size and small engine, I get about 500-550 kms to a tank. The main things I love about my Vue is: 1) plenty of space, 2) simple set-up/easy to use, 3) gas mileage. The only things about this mid-size SUV is you do have to really give-er to get up to speed; and the passenger brake stuck at one point, which wasn't expensive to fix but was an inconvenience. The VUE's are known to last so if you want a reliable car go with this model, just keep up with oil changes every 5,000km. I do recommend this car.
