Worst Car I have ever bought

I leased a new 2008 Saturn Vue and have had nothing but trouble. Within 6 months, I had to replace the whole radio and the hvac unit. Within 1 year, I had to replace the muffler because of a missing spot weld. Right now I have to replace the hood release cable but the part is on back order and they cannot tell me when it will be available. Also right now, I have a loose heat shield that rattles horribly while sitting in idle position. This car currently sounds like it should be 10 years old, and I just got it 2 years ago. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Vehicle has been in the shop 7 times and has stranded us 3 times. Saturn says there is an issue, but they don't have a fix and I should use caution when driving the vehicle to avoid being stranded in the extreme heat (or cold). This in NOT why a person purchases an new vehicle. I talked people with everyone from Saturn Customer Service to the GM Executive Offices to try to return the vehicle to no avail. After it spent 20 of the first 30 days of ownership in the shop I tried to return it under Saturn's 30 day return policy, but they would not honor it because they counted the time from when I signed papers instead of delivery 5 days later for the dealer installed DVD system. Finally took my loses and traded it off instead of fighting it with Lemon Law Lawers.

Love My Saturn!!!!

I decided to get rid of my tiny little neon, and be higher off the ground. After much research, I fell in love the VUE. It is very quiet, rides very smooth, has so many little storage compartments, stereo sounds great, has fun little gadgets, lots of space to move, great onstar feature, and looks great inside and out!

Good car but.....

I loved everything about this car the style, price, and gas mileage. What I do not like is I have had an issue with the reliability. Twice this week it wouldn't start. Once when I stopped for gas and once in my driveway. Thank goodness for the onstar and roadside assistance but this is a nuisance. I?ve only owned it for 4 months I shouldn?t be having these issues. It has been extremely cold which is what is causing the issue but come on it?s a new car. Also the hoof has been frozen shut I?ve never had this experience.

Nimble and steady, fun to drive..

I have the AWD V6 Vue XR and it looks great as well as runs great. It goes up the hill to our community in the snow just fine, something my neighbors AWD Edge can't manage to do with any confidence. This is my first Saturn and I would buy another one. This is much better than the older model Saturn Vue that my company uses that I occasionally have to drive. If I changed anything, it would be to bring back that cool orange color because I would have bought

BIG disappointment

Been in shop for oil leak, bad serpintine belt, replaced catalytic converter, transmission problems. Transmission too quick to downshift on hills when in cruise, then does not want to shift back into overdrive. Also does this when you let cruise bring up to speed.

Dealer disapointments

My 2008 Saturn Vue XR has good fit and finish. Decent seats although a bit firm for my wife's taste. Good performance and handling. BUT-4 trips to the dealer for transmission problems. The last time we were told that the shifting and groaning noises (enough to drown out the radio) were "designed into the vehicle". I'm not buying it. After convincing my wife to trade in her Honda Pilot to help the "big 3" this has been a major disapointment.

GM is failing to uphold bargain

I bought one brand-spanking new. At 5,000 miles a rotor in the right front wheel went out. Ever since then, it has been one thing after another. I have had the vehicle now for 8 months and it has also depreciated $9,000 according to a sales rep. I spoke with today about trading it off. Don't do it. Saturn may not be around much longer anyway.

2008 Vue

I have the 2008 XE - AWD / V6 and am very satisfied with the Vehicle. Style, power and comfort are all in a good mix. It is pretty loaded so I'm enjoying all the toys. The GM On-Star and XM Radio was a bonus. So far my only concern is that he back cargo area is not quite as big or hold as much as I thought it would. But, it's a beautiful vehicle.
