Really great!

I purchased a 2013 scion FR-S 2D. It's a really great sport car for me. I don't have Kids but there's space on the back seat. It drives really great!

This car is fun to drive!!

This is a nice looking, fun car. It?s very low to the ground so it?s a lot different from my past 2 vehicles (lifted Jeep wranglers). It?s a Toyota, I have zero worries about reliability as long as it?s not beaten into the ground.

The car met all of my needs and it was super fun to drive. I loved the sunroof and the car was also very quick.

Can't beat it for the money.

Now, keep in mind I bought my 2013 FRS used and not brand new. This car is definitely going to be one I keep for a VERY long time. The way it hugs the road in the corners, the responsivness, yes people complain about the lack of power, but that's because you're not doing what it's made for. Having fun in a stylish barebones drivers car. When I say barebones, I don't mean chairs on a rolling chassy. I mean a MODERN barebones as in it has a premium sound system, bluetooth and phone call support, and a simple yet beautiful interior. Yes you don't have the touch screen or the push to start or the puddle lights or remote start, but that's not what the car is about. It's about how the car rides and drives and it rides like a dream, responding to inputs like a go-kart. If you keep it in the proper RPM range, you'll be flying through the twisties. People complain about the car not being fast enough, and again it's because they're not trying hard enough. I read on article on this and it talked about peoples complaints of "only 200 horsepower". This isn't a car that coddles you and lets you have whatever you want, no. If a Corvette Z06 (lovely car) is the parent who gives their kid everything they'd ever want whenever they asked for it, the Scion FRS/Toyota 86 is the dad who molds their child into a hard working person who WORKS for what they want in life. The FRS makes you EARN those fast lap times and only through understanding and practice will you gain the mastery of handling of such an amazing vehicle in this modern age of cars. Thank you Toyota and Subaru, you've given us a car we should be thankful for.

Best driving experience for under 50k

This vehicle is a great car for the money, and has a low center of gravity that creates one of the best driving experiences under 50k

So much fun to drive!!!

I absolutely love my car! It's lightweight, comfortable, fast and the absolute best part is throwing it into corners. It's got such a low center of gravity that you can nail the corners at almost any speed. Turn off the traction control, downshift and hit the apex and the back end swings out so beautifully. Definitely gets you smiling and kicks your pulse up a few notches. Watch out for cops though, it is way to fun and easy to speed in this thing....haha

The Perfect Reliable Sports Car

Do not buy this car if you need space or practicality. However if you dont need a big car or AWD then the FRS is a perfect daily driver for the driving enthusiast. Commutes become exciting and even just having an excuse to run an errand. Manual is a must for starts and you require features this isnt your car. Its interior is pretty sparten with bluetooth its only modern feature but honestly, if all you require is AC/Heat and music then look no further.
