Small, comfortable, reliable

It has everything you need and it feels very roomy even though it is only a 2 door vehicle. Very reliable, no accidents, and a very cool looking car.

One of the best cars I've owned.

This car met all of my needs at the time the only reason I traded it in was to get a bigger vehicle for my family. I loved the sporty look on the inside and out it was also a very reliable car.

Great power, great gas mileage!

Love the car. It definitely needs a turbo but has a good bit of power for a 4cyl. I get great gas mileage and the car is super fun to drive. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants a fuel efficient vehicle with a little power behind it.

Sporty and fast

This car is a blast to drive. The panoramic roof open on a summer night is the icing on the cake. People compliment my car every where I go.

Really fun car to drive

Overall, I have been very satisfied with this car. Surprisingly roomy for a small 2 door (I'm 6'4" and have no issues getting in and out of the car). Lots of fun to drive with plenty of options to personalize. Has been very reliable and would definitely consider purchasing as a car for my kids.

Decent performance, nice styling, good utility

No offense, but folks who give this car a five star review need a broader perspective on automobiles and what a real five star car is like. If a Scion TC is five stars, how can you have a meaningful rating for a Tesla or Ferrari? That said, the 2013 Scion Tc is a great value that's reasonably well rounded. The styling is more masculine and aggressive than the first generation TC, but I'm not convinced it's better (I also owned a 2005 TC.) I think the roofline of this second generation TC compromises rear visibility for appearance, both my wife and I very much dislike the large blind spots caused by the large C-pillars. Some interior materials look cheap and the interior design is too busy, not up to the standards of the exterior styling. I have the optional leather seats and they are very nice, more supportive than cloth. The optional carbon fiber door panel trim is poorly formed and doesn't fit well. Interior noise is horrendous, way too much road & tire noise. A very bright spot is the large interior (for a smallish hatchback.) You can carry a surprising amount of stuff in the hatch area and this was a major reason we chose this car over competitors. Handling is secure and steering is tight, not the last word in sportiness and road feel, but quite entertaining in general. I find this car to be better suited as urban/suburban transport than long distance commuting in Florida. However, if I lived in an area with poor condition urban roadways, I couldn't recommend this car at all as road noise and lack of isolation from road irregularities annoy me. Fuel mileage is nothing special for the performance. This car is deceptively quick in that it doesn't rule in a stoplight drag duel, but it carves through traffic like a hot knife in butter at highway speeds. You can easily find yourself going way too fast when passing slow traffic!
