My beautiful Xb

My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

It’s been good to me

After being a Nissan customer for many years, I realized that the cars were not reliable and decided to try a Scion. It has been my most reliable car to date. Repairs have been minimum and it drives very well. I travel around the state a lot and so far it has been consistently performing well.

Crazy but Reliable Scion XB

Even though the Scion XB may look a little square but Scion which is made by Toyota made a grat vehicle. Its super reliable and comfortable to drive. The drivers position is high so you have good visibility. The interior is spacious. Although some materials are plastic, it still looks good. The performance was actually better than I thought it was going to be. It has a 2.4 L VVT engine which is strong off the line. Overrall a good vehicle for the price if you can take the boxy style looks.

Hipsters box, cool and funky

I bought this car in replacement for my very unreliable 2012 Volkswagen jetta. I bought he car used, 2010 model with 32k miles. In 6 months I put 20k miles with no drama. I just drove from LA to Las Vegas and coming back to LA with no problem. My box had full trunk and 4 passengers including me. I was kinda reluctant because I am used to drive to Vegas with our VW routan with big V6. This car handled freeway speeds with no problem. The only drawback in this car are: 4 speed auto- I wish they have put 5 speed auto from 2009 camrys; small tank- with a 2.4L 4 banger that is quite thirsty because of the tranny. Overall I have no complaints. I am loving this box and although I replaced the 16 steelies with 17” rims with 215/45/17 with firestone fr710 the stock suspension handled all the bumps and imperfections of LA roads.

Love love love it!

Wow! I am so glad I bought this xB! I can?t say enough good things! Bought it used with 133k miles and man...where?s this car been my whole life?! I had an Element that was totaled sitting in front of my house by a crazy driver & have grieved for it for years. Bought this one bc it was waaay cheaper. And omg...I LOVE it even more than the Element! Somehow this lil thing is BIGGER inside! Sorcery!!! I?ve had back surgery and the seat feels like it?s giving me a big hug! Good for long & short trips. And getting on the exit?! Zip zip & im ahead of the pack! Had to drag my Buick up an exit embarrassingly. I hope this lil dreamy car lasts forever bc my family of 5 fits perfect & loves it! And the interior?! Love the layout! It?s not the same old same old. Scion went against the grain & created a neat lil change to the norm. You feel unique from having this car. Buy it!!!

an all-around "cool" car.

My first reaction was "oh no!" but the test drive was surprising and i like things a bit different. It was a great vehicle to own and remained stylish the 8 years i owned it.

A dependable, versatile tank.

This car has been super-handy for hauling all sorts of gear, including pulling a light trailer at times. It has a roomy interior and gets decent gas mileage. The back seat is very comfortable for passengers too. And when you fold down the seats you can pack quite a bit into it. The handling is currently so-so, but I would blame that on the fact that I haven't replaced the suspension (the car is 8 years old) and the tires aren't the best. I recall the ride being rather nice when it was younger.
