Most Fun to drive car I've owned.

This car meets my needs--fun to drive, a small version of an SUV, efficient and gets me to where I need to go. I look forward to driving this for a long time.

Reliable, realistic and enjoyable car on a budget

I love this car so much. It has more cup holders then I know what to do with. The back seat folds down so I can fit all my camping equipment. It drives good in the rain but wish it drove better in the snow. It took me a while to adjust to the odd body shape but I love this car

Brave little toaster

I bought my 2012 xD in 2019 with 72k miles. It's my third Scion after owning a 2006 xA and 2006 xB. This xD has a larger 1.8 liter engine from the Corolla which gives me more power than the my other Scions, but with a slight mileage penalty over those other cars. On a recent road trip to Dallas I averaged 38 mpg, while in town I typically get 28. Installed winter tires and had no problems trekking through our rough winter. The car still feels solid, no squeaks or rattles. Great deals can be had on the xD right now, they are one of the best kept secrets in the small car world!

I have been extremely please with the Scion. It is The perfect size and handles well in addition to being very economical. I would highly recommend this car to anyone wanting a reliable smaller car.

Great vehicle

Love this car. Definitely better for small stature people and is no tank in the snow, but a great all around car

Great Bang for the buck!

Great gas mileage and super great for commuting. Nothing fancy but the reliability Toyota's are known for.

Best economy of any vehicle I've ever owned!

It was a great car. The only negative for me was the location of the side mirrors as they seem to block my vision. I prefer sitting higher when I drive and I sit pretty low in the Scion. My wife loved it, though. It did easily haul my bicycle in the roomy rear baggage area.

Great Value

This car is a great value because it gets excellent gas mileage, drives smoothly, and because it should last for many, many years because it's a Toyota. I've had no issues with my Scion Xd. Plus you can squeeze into any parking space, but it doesn't feel like a clown car inside!

Good economy vehicle

I bought this Scion after a friend, who owns a Scion XA, and I loved her car. I was able to buy the last 12 in stock. I'm not crazy about the silver colour but other than that I like the size and convience, easy to park etc. It get about 34 MPH on the road and 28 in town. With the price of cars, even little ones, today the Scion is a fair exchange for your money

My favorite car ever.

In twenty five years of driving, this is my favorite car. It is feels sporty for this type of vehicle. It is easy to drive, park, and gets great mpg's (28mpg in sporty city driving). The A/C works very good on the hottest days here, the radio / BlueTooth are very good, and the driving position feels high and easy to see out. Only complaints are the HVAC controls are lame and clunky, wish it had the new Yaris controls. Secondly, the turning circle is as large as a Camry (no joke), when it should be like a Yaris or Corolla. I put 215/55/16 tires on it and it looks better, and drives smoother.
