2020 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

I did not get all options I would of liked, but that's my issue. Trying to keep costs down. But it had a lot of nice features. I especially love the adaptive cruise control. Drove down parlys canyon. Set for 65 and held it perfectly. Least stressful drive down that canyon ever. Subaru has always been one of my favorite vehicles.

Have owned it about 3 weeks. Still learning all of its features. Very impressed so far. Good gas mileage. Nice ride. Lots of safety features.

Overall very pleased, my second Forester. We are still figuring our some of the buttons nd switches, we bought the Touring Model so lottos "helpful" technology comes with the car, however, I don't seem to learn new stuff as well ask used to. Would I buy it again, yes.

I purchased this dandy Limited Jasper Green Forester last Tuesday and quite honestly...wow! I immediately was curious to find out about the whining from people about Auto/Stop start and lack of turbo! Well...as for the Auto/Stop start, people that really complain are what I call 'pedal mashers'! When I am stopped at a light and have my foot on the break, when I am ready to go again I take my foot off the break for a split second and then put my foot on the pedal with no obtrusion from Auto/Stop start. Now, if you're a masher and for some reason feel the need to take one foot off the brake and immediately put the other on the gas, of course ot will jutter for a nano second, but why do you have to?! With that being said, I probably will disable it many times only because I do believe it will eventually cause shorter life to the engine parts associated with turning off and on excessively. Now...as far as the lack of turbo making this fine vehicle sluggish, Are you kidding me?! Several times I actually had to slow the Forester down because I was almost immediate over 50 mph when the speed limit is 35! Maybe partly because I just came from a Ford Focus, lol, but the pickup is incredible and even pretty peppy going up pretty steep hills. If you still feel the need for a turbo, you are probably the overly aggressive sap that irritatingly tailgates people that are already driving 5 to 10 miles over the speed limit! The vehicle is seemless, and smooth as butter. The comfortable, high driver seat position gives me great command of the road. Lastly, the auto high beams and great stereo system is killer! This vehicle is a boon for people that don't want to break their bank account yet you still feel like you are! A++

This SUV met all of my needs. Great safety features, good visibility and good value. Easy to use touch screen and fun to drive. I’m very happy with my first SUV.

This car has all the bells and whistles you could want. Safty rating and trade in value are at the top of the list. Great milage, and comfortable ride for those road trips.

Everything I wanted and more. Smooth ride and amazing safety features. Solid car, pick up is fine, lots of room and very comfortable. Very pleased with it so far.

We have had our Forester for a week and are still getting used to all the safety features. Very nice vehicle.Rides well and handles easily.

This is a great car to meet your needs. It has plenty of leg room front and back and drives very well on the roads.
