Subarus are a quality made car. Last a long time.

Plenty of room but, not to big. Lots of features to numerous to mention including heated seats and all wheel drive for winter. Handles well on the road.

Nice solid car

It is a good car for shorter people who load things like kayaks on top of their cars. It is also a very solid comfortable sporty little wagon. It could have a little more storage/stuff space by the driver but otherwise it has plenty of cabin space and roomy back seat. I feel safe in it on winter roads. It has a noticable shift when accelerating but is fairly quick for a 4cyl.

08 Subaru Outback Ltd

Great vehicle in rainy or snowy weather. The AWD is awesome. Car comes in handy when at Home Depot as the wagon trunk is spacious. Very safe.

Faster car than any website review tells

I bought a 2008 Subaru Outback LL Bean last August and I am pleased with the smooth ride and quietness of thewhole operation. What most impressed me was the accelation. I notice that from 0-20 it is a little hesitant but from 20 mph to 70 mph it screams and I would put it up against a Subaru Outback XT any day. The thing is you must run hi octane all the time in order to have good acceleration. I added a Spectre performance airbox air filter. 0- 60 mph runs a consistant 6 second flat withcan occasional 5.8 second through 6.2 second lapse. I only do this on an empty road outside of Pittsburgh PA. Well worth the money.

Best Car You Could Ever Buy-But I'm Biased

Bought my 08' Subaru Outback due to my last Outback racking up too many miles for my needs. I drive for work, and though I loved my 02', something with less miles was a must. The 08' has been such a comfortable and functional car to drive. My personal bias is because all my cars have been Outbacks. My father was fortunately in my first one when it was totaled and it saved his life. (Not being dramatic. The way it's made was exactly was needed when rolling a vehicle). Outbacks are absolutely wonderful for safety, comfort, and overall usability. It hauls my kayak beautifully, and the dogs I dog sit are always comfy riding back after a day at the dog park. This is truly the best car money can buy. As far as I am concerned my money will always go towards a Subaru Outback.

A Reliable car

I have previously owned a 2000 Subaru Outback. I loved the car and would still be driving it had not been ruined in a flood back in April of 2017. I bought the 2008 Subaru Outback after seeing it through a finance company. After test driving it I went ahead and bought it. It has a very nice (no rust) on the exterior. The interior has enough room for the things I normally like in a car (oil can, windshield wiper fluid, air compressor, jumper cables, first aid kit, etc.). I wanted a car I could feel safe in. Subaru by name allows me a comfort level for driving in the winter weather. However, will still drive cautiously knowing that the AWD will assist with any slipping. I bought an older Subaru due to the price and the fact that it is a Subaru. I tend to see older Subaru still on the road. I realize that not every Subaru will run and perform at it's best. But was willing to trust the brand because of my previous experience with Subaru.
