One of the best family vehicles out there

What makes it great for family is its height (easy to get in and out), interior spaces and trunk space. The car is very stable and owns one of the best AWD systems out there.

Very Comfortable and Practical

The Outback is very comfortable and handles really well in any weather. It can hold a lot of cargo and is very reliable. The starlink system is kind of freaking me out though, because it tells me whenever I need to do maintenance, but also tells the shop and they call me. Overall, it's a great car.

Best car for busy outdoors person

This one is 3.6 six cylinder. It is very quiet on the highway. A lot of power. CVT works great and unlike other cars with CVT it does not drone at all. Power is smooth and relatively responsive. Car is heavy so gas milage is not stellar (compared to 4 cylinder), but much better than SUVs. Also being heavy car, tires wear fast. Inside it is very comfortable and wide. Read set has enough space for 3 adults. Rear trunk is very annoying!! It is impossible to pen by hand, you have to use power all the time. And since i often forget and try to use open it by hand, door stops and I have to close it/ open it several times to actually open all the way.

most high tech. car ever owned

Meets all my needs, but takes time to get used to sensor control of braking & cruise control. You have to be prepared when passing a car/truck parked on shoulder of road w/flashers going while your on cruise control, it may presume a crash/need to stop, and slam on brakes instead of letting you go on by the vehicle. Also happened w/bike in bike lane moving to close to car lane causing same problem.

The best car I ever owned

The Subaru Outback exceeded all of my expectations--and found me new ones it met! Gas mileage is spot on and the fit and finish rival cars twice the price. Schlossman's Subaru City is tops in servicing!

Absolutely Wonderful SUV

I love this SUV! It drives like a car with all of the benefits of an SUV! I looks great and drives great! The Nav system is really good too. Love love love the back-up camera and side warning lights. I have and will continue to recommend this SUV to others!

My 3rd Subaru

Have always liked my Subarus. My Outback is a pleasure to drive on long trips, already have 18000 miles and not a year old. The Eyesight is a great feature. My only negative comment would be any of the indash mounted Nav systems that sometimes you get a glare from the sun and there is no way to overcome it.
