We love the Outback

We’ve had our 2014 Outback in the States and in the Middle East. Rock solid from the sand to the snow. Comfortable and well-sized for trips anywhere, great on gas mileage. I am so happy our mileage is barely 30k I would like to keep it to 300k. We looked at so many options, from the best German marks to luxury japanese brands and still the Subaru was way better - doors open wider, better in weather, better on terrain, more comfortable cabin and road view, and we were out the door for $30k! We came in probably $20-30k cheaper than we would have with some of the other options on the market. And of course those who know know that those who know drive Subaru;)

Terrific value proposition!

This car has a ton of amenities, while being extremely practical for daily use - my second Outback. The comfort and versatility is outstanding as well.

Luxury at an affordable price

This car meet all of my needs including my budget. Drove many higher priced vehicles but got the same features at a much lower price.

Swiss knife of cars

I bought the 2015 2.5i Limited version of Outback. My experience has been largely satisfactory. My requirements: I use the car mostly for commute, groceries and so on. I like to go on road trips (car good for long drives), travel internationally often (ability to fit large suitcases), I have only one car, so I needed a car that does everything. The good: My outback has been extremely reliable very few issues (see below). I have owned the car for 4.5 years. The car is comfortable, has sufficient technology (I work in tech), comfortable for long drives, not too bulky for everyday chores like groceries and commute (like those 7 seaters), but still very spacious. Provides great gas mileage, and had broken down on me once (one of the sensors malfunctioned, replaced under warranty). Was rear ended once - did little damage to my car, the car which hit me was a total mess! It does everything you expect from a car, it is indeed the Swiss knife of all cars. If you want to purchase one vehicle that does it all, this is it -- comfortable, smooth, spacious, drives like a car and not a truck, not too bulky, good mileage, value for money, goes offload, and reliable. The bad: Oxygen sensor went bad and the car stalled, had to tow and got it replaced under warranty. Passenger seat window mechanism malfunctioned, got it fixed under warranty, the capacitor lines on infotainment system started showing up, replaced under warranty. The GPS is okay, sometimes gets confused, have to pay to get it updated. the 2.5 version is a little underpowered, in the hindsight should have bought the 6 cylinder version. A little bit noisy inside, not very quiet, as you would expect from a luxury car.

Subaru Outback, unique design, great reliability

In an Outback you sit as high as in an SUV, but the roof is lower and the wheel base is longer. It has a great ride, styling and safety features. Consumer Reports rates it at the top for reliability. We love our new Outback.

Third Subaru I have owned

This car has all of the best features Japanese engineering has to offer. Excellent sound system, driver assist, smooth ride, plenty of horsepower, lots of interior space, heated seats, extremely reliable. I could go on and on...

Amazing capability

The car has everything you would want. It has all the latest safety features, plus pretty good gas mileage and performance. Took it on a 2000 mile road trip in severe thunderstorms and it performed and handled superbly.
