Suzuki XL7

Had mine for 2 years. No problems what so ever. Pull it up next to a Cadillac SRX and see if they look the same. Going to turn my leased 07 in this week to get an 08. Can't go wrong with a used AWD (yea 8k miles is not used) for around $16k.

Surprisingly great SUV!

The 2008 Limited is my second XL7. While the styling may not appeal to everyone I find it especially attractive in silver. The interior room for an SUV of this size is incredible. I also like the ability to have the third row of seats when needed to haul the grandchildren. The quality seems top-notch for a vehicle in this price range and certainly on par with Toyota and Honda. Most appealing for me here in snow country is how confidence-inspiring the traction control is in the terrible highway conditions like ice and snow. It never ceases to amaze me at it's stability. The power is great and the transmission shifts wonderfully. The gas mileage isn't as good as I'd like (I get between 18 & 22 driven hard), the seats could be a little more comfortable on the long trips, and the rear has a pretty big blind spot I still struggle with. Another plus is that I can (and do) tow a small trailer easily.

Solid Ride

This SUV is for men who like the truck feel. Strong and powerful vehicle that holds the road in all situations. AWD is worth the extra as it makes this vehicle nimble and quick. I took this on some of the worst roads and found the 17" tires help step over the pot holes and bumps. Taking this SUV over all others in giving the passengers a tight controlled feel in the cabin. A little minus for the fuel economy but overall I would recommend this vehicle to others. Great value for the money.

Worst car I've ever owned.

The interior is cheap. The car is overpriced. Gas milage is terrible for a midsize SUV. The turn ratio is extremely limited. I wish I had thought about this more before making a commitment. I am trying to get rid of the vehicle, and I am have an extremely hard time because the depreciation is awful.
