Fanciest car ever!

Big learning curve is learning all the things it does. It makes me proud to be able to master the technology in the car. It is a beautiful car. I miss the little cubby holes to store things .

Such a fun car

This car is really exciting to drive. There are a few things to learn, but that's the joy that comes with a new car. The ludicrous mode is incredible, imagine riding a roller coaster, anything you want.

Superior Perforamnce and Style

Performance of the P85D is legendary and our of this world. Think rocket launch. Autopilot it great on the highway and free supercharging is a nice benefit.

Greatest Full Sized Luxury Sedan Ever Driven

I have been excited by the look and technology in this car since the model was first released. I can see why Road and Track gave it a perfect rating. Not only is it beautiful but FAST. For a sedan that weighs 4,469 to 4,941 lbs it drives like a freight train but feels like a butterfly. It is an abnormal feeling the weight but not driving like it. It might be the drivetrain, 1 speed automatic or it might be the electric motor, giving the driver, quite literally, instant gratification. There is no gears to change, no compression, gas fuel getting in-between you and the (-gas) pedal. It is an amazing feeling. With all that tech and amazing, comes the price tag. When I test drive the 90d it came out to almost $100,000 for a car with the options I wanted! Not only that but the insurance doubles and the required annual maintenance is $700 about 6 times what a normal car costs. If you take into account gas vs electric (100 mile trip will cost 1/2), free supercharging (with a referral code), $7500 Federal Rebate and State Rebates you save about 10%. The price of a 75d is more reasonable, but still around $85k before intensives. If you want the best, you gotta pay.

fastest take off ever!

the car seemed very expensive at first, after considering no gas, no oil changes, no transmission to break.. it seemed like tge logical future choice

Incredible car if you don't mind the silence

About a year or two ago, my uncle purchased a Tesla Model S. This car looks amazing. The sleek design rivals the S-Class and the 7 Series. The interior was fantastically built. With the extremely comfortable seats and the near silent sound produced by the car, the only thing that keeps you from falling asleep is the 380+ horsepower produced by the all-electric engine. If you like the idea of electric cars, the Tesla Model S should be your top choice. If, however, you enjoy the sound of a purring engine, this car might not be for you. Though I would save hundreds of dollars a year on gasoline, I would most likely prefer to drive a car with a gasoline engine. I just can't imagine driving down the road and hearing nothing at all. Still, this is a pretty awesome car, and if you don't think you'd mind driving an electric car, I would definitely check it out!

Best car I've ever owned.

By far, best car ever. I want a newer one, so I'm selling this one. The smooth ride, the immediate and massive acceleration, handling...I love everything about it.

Still no competition

Upgradede to p85d from my P85. Drove all kinds of performance cars but none beats the pd models of tesla. Brutal instance acceleration and then relax with auto pilot.

Best car in the World

What's not to love? Very, very fast, smooth beyond anything you've ever driven, stellar maintenance support, and an 8-year, infinite-mile warranty on the expensive parts (battery and powertrain).
