Moderate towing capability. Great off road performance. I drove all the models! Liked the Off-Road Premium the best, except it has no rear sonar. Also could use a power liftgate. The Limited model felt best on paved roads. The crawl control on the Off-Road models is a very nice touch. I'm not sure the KDSS suspension is needed. Even though I rated it as a 4 overall, that is primarily because of the poor MPG's and lack of a couple safety features, which the Limited model has. It is a great off road vehicle.

Perfect vehicle for my needs which are towing and off roading. Love the styling and toughness of this vehicle.

This is my 4th Toyota car so far ( the last 3 were also Toyota: Tercel, Corolla, and Camry) After owing it for about a month I am surprised how fuel efficient ( 17 miles per gallon ) it is, and all the great safety features it has .This 4-Runner Meets all my needs. Best car I have bought so far. I am really happy with my purchase.

Love everything about my 4runner. Its reliable, durable, rugged, and family friendly. Great for every family members needs. To myself, wife, 16 year old and 4 year old. We all love it.

Got snow....no problem! I'll relocating to the PNW and I'm prepared for what ever I encounter. The 4Runner is one of the few remaining SUVs built on a truck chassis and feels more than capable regardless of the terrain.

Solid driving car. Better driving than our Acura RDX. Would recommend for a new vehicle if 4wd is important in your decision process.

I have only had my 2018 TRD off road premium for a month, and I absolutely love it. I have owned many brand new vehicles over the years, but this is probably the happiest I've ever been with any one of them. Two years ago, I purchased a 2016 Tacoma 4 door pick-up, my first "foreign" vehicle. A friend owned a few and swore by them, so I took one for a test drive, & took it home the next day. I did indeed, really like that truck. After looking at the 4runner for awhile, I decided to test drive one while my Tacoma was in for routine service. I took the 4runner home that very next day. It is by far, the tightest, soundest, most capable feeling, and coolest vehicle I've ever owned. I pretty much love everything about it, and find myself just going for drives again. I've already been through a snowstorm too, and of course; it climbed around like a mountain goat. This truck has more off road capabilities than I'll probably ever use, but who knows...and what the heck, the TRD off road is a very cool version, with some cool features.

I?ve wanted a 4Runner for years, but was always distracted by other models and makes till this year. Faced with the need to tow, the desire for adventure, and the preferences for the reliability that a Toyota offers, I chose my new Limited 4Runner. It?s strong but handles well; tough but luxuriously comfortable; and a powerhouse but it can go almost anywhere.
