1989 Toyota Corolla consumer reviews

First of all I want to thank the Lord for this car this is my second time to own this 1989 Toyota Corolla GTS coup this car is fun to drive and with regular service and oil change you can't go wrong in the late 80s and early 90s these GTS was said t go over 400,000 miles these cars are hard to find in great condition if you can get one they are becoming a collector eye now and will be worth a lot of $$$$ in good Original condition why? because they only made a limited amount of the Toyota Corolla GTS Two door Coup only in 5 speed, and special Twin Cam engine 112HP, as a matter of fact many of the older toyota line from the 70s to early 90s are becoming collector eyes $$$$$, my second GTS has over 200,00 miles but in good running condition need a little TLC body work but its an blessing

First of all I bought my first 1989 Toyota Corolla GTS coup 5 speed many years ago in the early 90s it was silver love the car needed to sell it after a few years, for a down payment, to buy my first house praise the Lord, now 2018 I saw on Ebay a owner selling his white 1989 Toyota Corolla GTS, with 220,000 miles and prayed about it, now I own one again it needed a some TLC, rear tire's, oil change, a few other things, but the engine & transmission was in great condition & it drive awesome and fun, for a car close to 30 years old and been setting for many years in the past owner's front yard, this car is a secret treasure Amen!!

What to say about a 4AGE corolla GTS with popup headlights.. i mean yes FWD.. not the AE86 that everyone loved/s.. But it has the same power plant.. 5 speed manual.. it was light weight, handled well, and got great MPG.. It was a real looker with it's factory BBS alloy wheels.. Though not fast, it was a lot of fun to drive, and handled extremely well.. This car ran 430K miles without ever having a single issue outside of clutches, an exhaust system, and a gas tank.. Which in a car that was 26 years old when i got rid of it... can't beat that..
